My eyes flutter open as my alarm begins to go off down my ear loudly. It was that time of day and that time of year...
Groaning, I slowly pulled myself out of my warm and cozy bed and was somehow able to drag myself into the shower. I let the warm water trickle down my body as I cleaned myself.
It was a Monday morning and it was a new week back to school after summer so I thought I should try and look half decent, I searched through my wardrobe until I was able to find the perfect outfit.

After dressing myself I curled my long, brown, thick hair and applied my make-up and I was ready to go.

I made my way down the stairs to find my twin brother sitting on the breakfast bar with a bowl of cereal.

"Morning dearest brother" I smirk at him as I grab an apple from the fruit bowl and take a large bite.

He rolls his eyes at me, "and good morning to you dearest sister. Would you mind telling me where the rest of your clothes are?" He questions raising his eyebrows as he looks down at my legs.

"Ah well you see it's very hot outside and I believe that we are running late so we don't really have time to argue" I shrug my shoulders as I grab my bag and head to the front door towards his car.

At school
My brother pulls his car into the school car park and I hope out of the passenger seat.

"Oh my favourite place!" I mutter sarcastically as he wraps his arms around my shoulder.

"So positive as usual" he looks down at me smiling. I notice Grace walking over to me and she quickly runs up to hug me and Dylan notices look and comes to join us all.

"Madison and you guys, Just letting you know that because I'm 17 in 1 day I will be having a party tonight and you are all invited" she mutters excitedly as she links arms with me.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world" I smile sweetly at her as we walk through the school doors. "What do you have first period?" I question her curiously.

"Ugh, math with Mr Woods. You?" She groans as we both open our lockers and grab our books.

I roll my eyes at the thought, "History with Miss Moore" also groaning as I shut my locker and the bell rings through the hallways. I bid her goodbye and head straight to my first lesson and take the seat right at the back by the window.
I hear someone clear their throat above me and I look up to see the new boy Xavier, the most attractive boy in our whole school. He smirks down at me.

"Is this seat taken?" He asks and he gestures to the seat beside me. I shake my head and he pulls out the chair and sits beside me.

"So you're new?" I try to keep the conversation going and it was working until we were interrupted by a certain someone. My eye sight rises and I see Dylan standing dead in front of me.

"Um mate I think you should move away from my girlfriend right now" he stares at Xavier coldly.

"Sorry man" Xavier mutters as he moves seats and Dylan plops down next to me.

"What was that? I am not your girlfriend!" I whisper/yell and frown at him deeply.

"I know but I'm just helping you out, your brother would totally kill you if he saw that guy and I wanted to as well, he was totally flirting" he smirks at me slightly. Miss Moore then walks in and begins to teach the lesson.

After school
Luke, Dylan and I soon arrive at our house and we all burst through the door.

"Dude I totally had to save your sister today, she was talking to the new guy" he shakes his head at me with disappointment.

"You what?" My brother looks at me shocked that I would even talk to a boy.

"He's a nice boy and the new guy has a name and it's Xavier" I mutter back at them both, slightly annoyed as I grab a bottle of water from the fridge. My brother scoffs.

"Even his name makes him sound like a dick! Don't talk to him" I replies sternly.

I would argue but I had a party to get to, "sir yes sir" i salute jokingly as I march up stairs to my room.
