"So what's in here anyway Sage?" Kasai asked, grabbing another box from the truck.

"New supplies for the cafe, I think there's also a few new blenders and such too." Sage said, climbing into the truck.

"Hey Evi, can you help me with this last one?" She called, the purple cat boy emerged from the back entrance of the cafe.

"On it." He stood on the pavement outside of the truck, ready to receive the box.

Sage passed it over before jumping down and grabbing the other side. The pair carefully made there way inside. They scuttled into the large storage room next to the kitchen. Kasai was putting her box away in the corner. Sage and Evi placed their box down near the side of the room.

"Thanks guys, I wouldn't of got it all in by myself, let alone before that storm." Sage sighed, rubbing her strained arms.

"No problem, reckon we could get a free milkshake for it?" Kasai laughed.

"The usual?" She laughed along, escorting them out of the storage room and into the main parts of the cafe.

They walked over to their booth and played noughts and crosses on a spare napkin while they waited.

"Come on, one more. I swear I'll win this time." Evi challenged.

"Bring it." She grinned, drawing up another grid.

A few minutes later Evi ripped up the napkin.

"Seriously?! Ugh!" He sighed as Kasai laughed. "You're too good at this."

"Must be a secret talent of mine." She giggled. "Come on, I'll teach you."

He watched as Sage walked over and gave out their milkshakes. She smiled as he spoke to her, even laughing. Could I even make her smile like that anymore?  He looked away, turning his attention to his blood stained bandages covering his hands. He turned back around, he watched him left the booth and walked over to the men's bathroom in front of him.

He got up and tailed him inside. He waited for him to leave his booth. He washed his hands, he jumped when he saw him in the mirror.

"Oh god, sorry you scared me." He started to walk towards the exit.

He grabbed his arm, stopping him in his tracks. He flung him into the opposite corner of the bathroom, his back smashed against the tiles.

"What the hell?!" He yelled, pushing himself back up, "What's wrong with you?!"

He walked over to him, looming over him. He punched him across the face, he stammered back.

"What's going on in here-" They turned around to see Sage at the door way. "Lucas?! What are you doing to him?"

Sage walked over to them, Evi pulled on the sink to prod himself up. Sage stood in front of Lucas, meeting his eye.

"Listen hon, I know you're upset about what happened with Kasai. I don't fully understand, but I know  that this won't help." She sighed at him being so unresponsive. "You need to try being the Lucas that she knew, not the one that hurts people or that's all she'll see you as."

"I'll give you some time to cool off. I'm going to ring Ian to come get you."

"Dude, this is a serious problem." Ian said, pacing about. "You can't just go starting fight whenever you want and keep stalking Kasai."

Ian had dragged Lucas back to his place, even worse it began to rain on the way back. Now he was wet and mad. Ian was meant to be taking care of Lucas, but it's hard to do that when he runs way out of his window.

"I know..." Lucas muttered, digging his fingers into the couch.

"If you know then why did you? You asked me to help you but I can't if you don't talk to me!" He exclaimed. He sighed, face palming.

"I know what I need to do."

"And what would that be? Try not to kill all her friends? That would be a good start." Ian rolled his eyes. He was tired of Lucas being so rash, and that coming from him!

"I need to change. I can't keep being this sociopath I am." He looked up to Ian, who had stopped dead in his tracks.

"That's the smartest thing I've ever heard you say in my life." Ian grinned.

Jay sung and danced along to the music blasting through her head phones in her room.

~It can be us and only us, and what came before won't count anymore or matter.

We can try that~

"I'm fine with that." She shrieked as she turned over to her balcony, Cole was climbing over the side, soaked in rain.

"C-Cole?!" She cried, she rushed to turn off her music and take off her headphones.

"Hey Juliet." He smiled, standing out on the balcony.

"W-What are you doing here? It's p-pouring." She said, "Come i-inside."

"I wouldn't want to get your room wet." He smiled.

"Why are y-you here?" She shuddered as the cold breeze swept through her room.

"I-I need to give you something." He stuttered.

"What is it?"

"You'll have to come here to get it." He smiled.

Jay sighed as she stepped out into the rain, she squealed as a large raindrop fell down her shirt.

"We're b-both soaking wet, now w-what is it?"

"W-Well," He pulled out a small box from his jacket. "Here."

He placed it in Jay's hands, a small ribbon wrapped around it. It was slightly damp, the ribbon drooped over her wet fingertips.

"I-I-, t-thanks!" She stuttered, her rosy cheeks glowing bright. "H-How did you even get up here?" Jay asked, realising she lived on the fifth floor.

"There's a tree over there." He pointed, "But that's not t-the only thing I have for you." He turned his attention back to Jay, getting flustered.

"What is it?" She asked, look up at him.

Cole leaned in, kissing her quickly. He back away, seeing her face had turned bright red. He chuckled.

"Cya Jay." He jumped over the balcony transforming on the way down.

Jay stood on her balcony in the rain, still stunned. Her heart was beating so fast she could barely keep up. She made her way inside, with a gitty smile across her face. She got a blanket and sat on her bed, opening the tiny box he had given her.

Inside was a silver amulet in the shape of a crescent moon. Jay smiled, she carefully took it out of the box and put it around her neck. She glanced into the mirror, ignoring her wet facade she focused on the shining moon on her chest. She held it tight to her chest.
