~Alright than here's the first chapter I hope you enjoy it it took me forever and I always hate the making of the first few chapters because you have to work into it. And please forgive me for the girls name I couldn't think of another one and it's too late now. Without further ado I present to you the first chapter of The Players Dream Girl.~
*Two And A Half Month's Later*
*Jake's POV*I have officially been in college for a month as of 30 seconds ago, and all I have to say is that it's worse than highschool. I have spent most of today doing nothing. I woke up at 4 in the morning for weights and practice until 8, and since it's Saturday boy's and girls are aloud in each others dorms until 10 o'clock Sunday afternoon, so Mike's busy hanging out with his new girlfriend Skylar until maybe 9.
Then there is me. It's 12:36 and I don't have a girlfriend, college party's will get me kicked off the team, preventing me from being like my idol Chris Blake (made up football player) that retired a few years ago with a son Sam Blake that's a few years older than me who plays pro.
I could probably study but I have all A's and B's in all of my classes because majoring in business is easy since my family owns one, so yeah. Or maybe I could...
My thoughts are interrupted by my phone buzzing on my stomach. It's a text from me and Mike's football buddy Tyler.
Dude!!! You have to get out here at the square right now!!! This chick is smoken!!!
Alright I'm on my way! I respond considering I have nothing else to do and it being a Saturday and all.
After a five minute jog to the square since I had nothing else to do I spot my friends Tyler and Adam gathered on a bench towards the edge of the square. As I run up to them I see Tyler grab Adam by the shoulder shaking him as he says, "Why do girls like these always have boyfriends? She probably does oh why, why, why?" Tyler wales hopelessly as if he would ever have a chance with a decent girl.
Stopping next to them, "They don't always have boyfriends you're just and idiot that comes on too strong." Tyler sends me a glare.
"He's just upset that the girl over there stretching turned him down," Adam said pointing to a girl in a grey tube top and short black shorts sitting on the ground stretching.
"She's cute."
"Bet you can't do any better than I did," Adam just laughs at him mumbling how stupid he is under his breath.
Nodding my head signaling that I accept the challenge I make my way towards the girl hoping she believes I'm another runner since I'm all sweaty in basketball shorts and a lose T-shirt. Sitting next to her and stretching out my legs to where they are directly in front of me. She stops stretching and looks up at me as I touch my toes.
"Um... Not to be rude or anything but your kinda... Invading my space."
"Sorry," I apologize as I scoot towards my left putting her an arm length away. "I didn't mean to get so close, you know how it is when your tired from a run and need a cool down stretch, so you just kinda plop."
She just sits there staring at me for a good minute before replying, "Let me guess, you're friends with the idiots sitting on the park bench behind you watching us?"
"Ho-"
"I saw you run up to them and start talking, I already told your friend no and I'll tell you the same thing if that's what your here for. I'm not looking for a relationship," she states firmly. And that's when I knew it, she was a girl that wouldn't care that I was a football player, she wouldn't want me for my money and most of all she would have no reason to trick me. This is a girl I need, I Want.
