What a weird day.

Just today I've met four boys and I know their name, but some of them don't even know mine, and all four of them had an attitude I wasn't most fond of.

'Kind and hospitable students' my butt!

Not in the best of moods right now. Sigh. What's my next class.

Wait, Symphony class?! Yes, finally!!

A class I have a possibility in dominating. I play the clarinet really, really well.

In France I was the best clarinet player out of 20 clarinetist.

I walked in with a big smile on my face. Every one of the students were staring at me. Especially the clarinet players. They must've heard about me.

"Welcome!!" I heard a voice announce boldly.

I turned to see a tall blonde boy bound towards me. He stopped really close to me and put an arm around me and pulled me in closer to him.

"Welcome, I say! We're so glad to have you here, my dear! Aren't we ladies?" He asked, and all the ladies suddenly had wide grins and I even heard a couple "hello"s escape their mouths.

"Umm, thank you." I said with a happy voice, but I was really confused on the inside. He's so much different than all the students I've met throughout the day, so.... Cheery.

"So your from France I hear?" He asked, very intrigued.

"Yes I am."

"Hey! So am I!" He continued in French. "I'm so glad your here! I haven't spoken in French in a very long time. Do you mind if we speak French together sometimes?"

I stood there, wide-eyed and slack-jawed. Then I beamed happily.

"Yes! I would like that very much!" I answered in French.

"That's good!" He responded, back in Japanese so everyone could understand him. "My name is Suoh Tamaki. And you are?"

"My name is-"

"Kaijo is here!" A boy announced.

Everyone sat down except me, and Suoh. He then walked toward Kaijo.

"Kaijo, where should our new student sit?" He asked.

"She can sit in the last clarinet chair." Suoh walked to me.

"This way milady," he said putting his arm around me once again and escorting me to the last clarinet chair.

"Thank you, Suoh-San." I said, feeling a little hot in the face, and sitting down.

"You can call me Tama-kun if you'd like." He whispered and then walked to the back of the room, and sat himself down at a grand piano.

For some reason, almost all of the girls looked at me with a look of... jealousy? Is that what I saw on their faces? He must be the stud of the school or something.

"Tama-kun? I don't even know him, and I didn't even tell him my name." I thought to myself.

After class I had to see Kaijo about my seating placement. Suoh-San was there too, except he was surrounded by a harem of ladies.

"Kaijo?" I asked, tapping him on the shoulder. "My name is Mei le Vroedt. I would like to talk about my chair number."

"What about it?"

"See, in France I was the best clarinetist in my school. And it's just a little odd to be the very last chair."

"When you show me that you deserve first chair, then you can have it. But for now you can have last chair."

"I can prove it to you now!" I pushed, almost yelling.

"Hm," he nodded, "okay then, show me."

"Are you okay with a marching piece?"

"No, surprise me with a jazz piece."

"Oh, good. My favorite, other than classical of course." I smiled. I put the clarinet close to my lips. "Rhapsody in Blue, by George Gershwin."

"Memorized?" Kaijo said with straight face like stone.

"Well if course!" I pipped, and then played.

My fingers flew, the sound was smooth and moving. My body swayed with the pulling of the rhythm, and I closed my eyes to show how passionate I was about the music.

"Enough!" Kaijo halted me. "I've heard enough. You may hear what I have to say tomorrow." He said with a straight face and walked out the door.

"WOW!" I heard Suoh-San erupt. "That was... AMAZING!" He shouted and ran up to me.

He wrapped his arms around me and spun we in a circle God knows how many times. O.O My clarinet!! It's still in my hands!

"Stop!" I squealed harshly and he stopped spinning.

"What's wrong?"

"My clarinet! It was still in my hands! Geez, what's wrong with you. You could've broken it!" I scowled and bent down to pick up the empty case so I could put it away.

"Oh, I-I'm sorry." He said, I wasn't looking at him but I could hear the sincerity in his voice. "I didn't even think about it. I was so moved by your playing I was just overwhelmed."

"Well thank you, now if you'll excuse me." I huffed and walked towards my locker.

He followed me, "Listen, miss. I really am sorry." he walked next to me, bending over so we could be more at eye level. "It's just that you play so beautifully. As I said, I was very moved."

"And like I said before, thank you." I said, still kind of steamed.

"Is there anything I can do so you won't be mad at me?" He asked.

"Some chocolates and a hand-made 'I'm sorry' card."

"What?" He asked. I stopped and turned around, looking straight up at him and pointing at him.

"If your serious about the apology than give me chocolates and a hand-written I'm sorry card at this locker here." I said pointing to my locker. "And only then will I not be mad at you, got it?"

"Yes, ma'am." He played along and stood up straight and saluted me. "But, if I may ask, what's your name?" I glared at him. He jumped and got in a real small and high-pitched voice, "So I know who to address the card to." He explained.

"le Vroedt-San." I stated.

"And your first name?"

"I don't even know you. I want it here tomorrow, before first hour." I stated and walked away.

Onward to my next class, cooking.

Suoh-San... ignorant.
