Full description:
Sierra Moore was certain her first boyfriend, childhood friend and her first love would be the one she would grow old with. But Brian broke up with her when they were fifteen, after dating for three years, saying he wanted to explore more options and she was too plain for him.
Two years later, after Brian's dad passed away, suicide, and Sierra spend her summer trying to improve her plain and boring character and find more interests they meet on the first day of school. Sierra has highlighted her hair, takes dancing lessons (latin and pole dancing), decided to stay away from dating until her finals end and once she secure a good college she would try again.
Brian is dating again, a nice quiet girl, like Sierra used to be. He lost his interest for looking for other girls, now that he is the man of the house and wants to be responsible. Seeing his ex doing better than him, not only pisses him off but makes him want to sabotage her fame.
While Sierra gets more guy attention than she ever had, seeing Brian pissed is a new sensation. She likes that he hates the new her, she loves that he still looks at her and she hasn't forgotten him. But her pride keeps her away from him. Unless he admits he messed up, that he wants her back and that he still loves her, Sierra will keep up being the new her and stay ahead of her goals. Even if Brian has different plans on how to make her cave.
