It has been quite awhile since the 9/11 attack in 2001 and everyone is doing well. Eve, Skylar, Lucas, Paige, Hazel, Haley and Avery are growing up fast but are still cherished deeply by their parents. Their allergies and diabetes has stayed in check while Haley is still battling cancer. The doctor says that Haley will most likely flatline in an hour, and it's September 11! It's the day her grandpa died a whole bunch of years ago.
Haley woke up before six in the morning and she will live until nine in the morning. Her mom, dad, siblings, aunt, uncle, cousins and grandma came to visit her. Haley is only 7 and has a good grasp on what is going on. She gave long speeches to everyone in her family before closing her eyes for the last time.
As she floated off into 'dream' world, she thought of all the good things she did in life before she died. Like going to Disney World and going skydiving with her sister. Going swimming, biking, running and playing every sport known to mankind. Acing every test at school, for being in 6th grade already since she skipped like, 4 grade levels. Haley skipped from second to fifth. Everyone is going to miss this bundle of joy but she will never be completely forgotten since she will always be in their hearts wherever they go and whatever they do.
Rest in peace Haley Rose Gardner.
