Dylan looked at the map and where the penny had landed that she had tossed, trying to decide where she would go to get away from this place.

"Charming California" Dylan mumbled "At least it sounds promising" she sighed.

Shoving clothes in a backpack and anything else of hers that would fit, Dylan looked around the dumpy apartment and shook her head.  She was so glad to be leaving this place, with her drug addict mother and her really creepy boyfriend.  She had wanted to leave a thousand times but she always stopped short of that because of how she worried about her mom and not wanting to leave the job she loved.  The job was no big shakes, all she did was help run a bakery but she loved the man she worked for, he had almost become like a grandfather to her.  Watching his health take a turn for the worse, it broke her heart to see him not be able to run the shop like he wanted.  Eventually his children took over and then decided to sell and suddenly she was out of a job and stuck here in this really crappy place.  She had thought about just finding another job and staying for her mom but the last straw was the other night when she woke and found the creep sitting on the side of her bed, running his hand over her backside.  Screaming and yelling, her mother had ran into her room and began accusing her of tempting him.  Having had enough, she grabbed her life savings and packed her bag, she was done and was out of here.

Sliding her leg over her old Harley and slipping on her helmet, she could only pray her bike would make the fourteen hundred mile trip.  The old bike had never let her down before and she really hoped to continue that record.  Starting her bike's motor, Dylan took off into the evening to her new destination.....Charming.

"I swear to God Jax and Daryl, if you two don't stop sleeping with the help I'll never be able to keep a bartender here" Gemma grumbled, putting a beer in front of each of them.  "You both charm these poor girls and then throw them away like a used rubber, it needs to stop!"

"Sorry Gemma" Daryl said softly, grinning at Jax.

"Sorry mom" Jax smiled, clinking his beer with Daryl's. "But honest we can't help we're completely irresistible."

"Oh please" Gemma said rolling her eyes "You two know exactly what you're doing.  One gets the girl to fuck him and then when he dumps her the other swoops in to mend her broken heart only to turn around and do the same thing to her.  You boys aren't right and Karma is going to come back and bite you in the ass so hard"

"Does Karma also pull hair?  Because I'm thinking I might like it and might want to meet this Karma" Jax smiled as Daryl chuckled.

"You are seriously impossible" Gemma glared at him and moved to the other end of the bar to help someone else with a drink.

"Well  thought it was funny" Jax said as both men laughed softly "We should probably head to the meeting room, Clay has some stuff to go over and some of the bullshit rules the new Sheriff Rick wants to put in place.  I think someone needs to put him into HIS place"

Walking to the back, the men slapped each other on the back still laughing about what Gemma had said and their last conquest.

Taking the last bite of her burger, Dylan scanned the newspaper looking for the house rentals.  There were a few but not exactly what she had been looking for, most of them seemed like a home for a large family and she just wanted a small place to lay her head.  Deciding to check the houses out anyway, Dylan paid the diner waitress and walked back outside and slid a leg over her bike.  Trying to start it, Dylan frowned realizing it was not going to turn over.  Looking at the garage across the street as she began to push, she hoped they could also fix motorcycles.
