Alright so as you can see this is another rant. I just need to say this.
So these boys in my class are always making fun of people for "acting gay" or listening to "gay music". They use the word "gay" as a slur and it's not okay. As a member of the LGBT+ community, I find it extremely insulting when others use the word "gay" as a way to hurt others. If people weren't so used to me being quiet, I would gladly out myself to make it clear that using the word "gay" as an insult is not okay. I would definitely yell that in their faces if I had the confidence to. Even though I'm still a bit confused about my sexuality, I know for a FACT that what I feel is in no way wrong or bad. Some may believe it is, but I believe it isn't and that people need to be more accepting to the LGBT+ community.
