The Hybrids

Synopsis

Hey guys! My name's Pril (obviously a nickname). Thanks to @Bunny771 and @kittyljkittytron for all the work they've done to help me in creating this story. This chapter is here to somewhat explain what the giant mess of chapters your going to read is about. This is my fist book and I have put a lot of time and effort into creating what you are about to read along with my friends so please be nice. Also I type too fast so you may notice a lot of spelling or grammar errors, sorry if you are a grammar perfectionist.  

Before you delve any further I will tell you now that this will not be set out like a normal story with paragraphs (except for the this chapter and the next two chapters), this will be set out like a script because we have imagined these stories as animations so all speaking and action would be written like a script. I have spent years creating characters, side characters and story that will be enjoyable for you to read so I hope you enjoy it. Also I have drawn all these characters myself so maybe later on I will show images of them so you know what they look like.

This story will be based on mythological creatures. Not how they are normally portrayed, but as if they lived in a society together far away from the humanity that does not understand nor except them,but they live along side the ones who do. This story will tell the tale of the creatures created by the zodiac beings that were struck down and attacked by humanity and had to be cast away from them on a separate island far out to sea. You will learn how each zodiac contributed their specific powers to creating these beings or make their life more comfortable. But this only the beginning.

The story will be told from the perspective of five high school students living in a mythical island. These teens are all hybrids (hence the name) and are in a school alongside a whole load of other fantasy beasts. These characters will be looked at more in depth in the next chapter with full character descriptions. For now I can tell you their names are April Manners, Diamond (nickname) Blade, Emily Quartz, Elizabeth Far and Yang Po (he's Asian so call him Po). Hopefully you will find how each character copes with the problems of being in high school enjoyable to watch.

 I will warn you now now that these stories may contain themes that some people might find upsetting such as bullying, racism and suicide. I don't want to sugar coat these things that are happening so if you don't want to read about it then I suggest you either don't read this book or be careful on what chapters you read as they will not all have these themes. Also there will be LGBTQ characters in this book so if you don't want to read about that or have a problem with it...LEAVE!
