Taehyung

Life didn't come easy to you as other people thought. Just because your family was rich and you could buy a new designer handbag every month, just because everything looked glamorous, didn't mean it wasn't all fake, just an image to hide the void of loneliness in your life. Maybe you seemed unapproachable, maybe you were afraid of being friends with people who might take advantage of you, maybe you just hated the arrogant people in your society, but what you knew damn well was that your life needed to be filled with more love.

Maybe this is why you befriended Taehyung so easily. He wasn't like the others, he wasn't fake or arrogant. He was real and honest. Behind the bad boy on the motorcycle image, he had a pure heart, he could make you laugh when you were sad. The only problem was that your parents didn't approve this friendship. They never truly cared about what you did, as long as you kept the good image and name of the family. That's why they tried to convince you that Tae wasn't good enough for you. He wasn't rich, he didn't care about money unless when he desperately needed it and that's why you enjoyed his company. He wouldn't take you for granted nor would he take advantage of you status. Sometimes, he even tried to push you away. "i'm too dangerous" he kept telling you but you wouldn't listen.

"Earth to (name). You've been staring at me for an hour. I knew i was handsome but geez try not to be so obvious" he said jokingly, waving his beautiful hands in front of your face.

"Sorry i'm just tired of that stupid project and I got lost in my thoughts" you replied.

"So do we stop and call it a day? seriously this teacher is getting on my last nerve. Go get some rest you look tired" he said ruffling your hair a bit.

You smiled back at him and closed the door after he left. The house always felt empty when he leaves. He rarely comes here anyway but his presence is enough to fill the whole room with joy.

After taking a shower, you heard a familiar ringtone but you knew it wasn't yours. You lifted the pillow to realize it was Tae's cellphone. What if he needs it?

Leaving the house with wet hair and sweatpants for the first time ever, you decided to head to his place. You've never been there before, he never actually invited you but you remember dropping him off once a few blocks away. The memory of the dark streets still haunts your memory making you shiver at the idea of anyone being able to live there.

You still had that thought in mind when you parked your car and decided to walk and ask for directions. The alleyway reeked with the smell of trash mixed with something else you couldn't recognize. The buildings looked old as if they might fall down any day killing the families huddled in there. The few trees between the buildings looked like menacing skeletons. Either way, this wasn't a safe place for a girl to walk in alone in the dark.

As you kept walking, thinking about how many drug dealers might be living there, shouts emanating from the opposite side startled you. Your heart beating faster, you came a bit closer to see a silhouette getting beaten up by a bunch of men. Your mind was begging you to move the heck out of there, but your feet weren't cooperating. Your curiosity fixed your feet on the ground. Your heart dropped at the sight of the boy's bloody face and bruises. you couldn't even see his features.

"Pretty boy is unable to fulfill the easiest mission ever. Is it too hard to get a stupid rich girl in the sheets and kill her? you could've at least stole some money. We trusted a bastard. Wait no we trusted a little girl who has feelings now right?" they hissed profanities at him, kicking him in the stomach at every word. Growls of pain emanated from the helpless boy lying on the ground as he tried to stand up to justify himself.
