Lyra's POV

"Lyra, I'm coming over, I have great news!" Kaley's voice said, through my phone's speaker. Kaley, is my best friend since 4th grade. Well, she used to hate my guts just because I tripped her, but she got over it.

"Ok, come over. My parents aren't home by the way." I responded, my parents said it was their anniversary week, which means they go to a fancy place and talk. They probably do other stuff but I don't know what they do. I heard Kaley squeal loudly.

"Be there in 5." She informed me, before hanging up. Also, what is the good news? She rarely has news. When she does, it's either because she bought my favorite movies, or gets a new follower on Instagram, which happens like, twice a month. But this time, she sounded truly excited, more excited then I ever heard her. I brushed my hair and put it in a neat ponytail because today, I felt good and wanted to go outside.

Ding dong! How is she even here!? She took less then 5 minutes to get her to my house. I ran to the door and opened the door, seeing a smiley Kaley. She walked in and I closed the door after her.

"Sit down." She told me, and of course, I sat down. "Lyra.." Kaley started taking something out of her pocket. "I bought us 2 tickets to a show in Los Angeles!" She screamed. My eyes widened.

"Justin Bieber tickets?" I asked. Kaley used to have the biggest crush on Justin Bieber, but lately she started liking electronic music, music like that.

"No, silly. Let me check what concert it is." She looked at the back of the papers and looked back at me. "I don't know how to say his last name. Martin Garrix? Is that how you say- Wait his name sounds familiar, you liked his music in middle school!"

"I got over him. He was just a crush." I stated. She wiggled her eyebrows. I still remember when I met him. I was in "love" with him. Silly young me.

"Well pack your bags. We are going to Los Angeles tonight!" She declared. Loudly. I almost choked on my saliva.

"Los Angeles tonight?! How? My parents won't know!" I pointed out, surprised. I don't even have money to go to Los Angeles! Also, me and Kaley don't even own a car!

"Oh Lyra, we are gonna fly there. Don't worry, I paid for the airplane tickets and we are leaving at 8:45 PM today." She notified me. I sighed, my hands reached into my back pocket and took out my phone. The phone said it was 5:38 PM, so we have 3 hours and 7 minutes. That's probably enough time to pack. My phone turned off and I placed my phone back into my pocket. Time to start packing.

How was this chapter? Did ya like it? Well I don't know what to say in these author notes. Well, tomorrow (Friday) We Did It from AREA 21 is going to be released! I think Waiting For Tomorrow is also going to be released, but I'm not sure. That's all I have to say.. so see you later. 😅
