As I’ve been perusing a few books, I’ve noticed a few things that I wish to point out. I’m speaking to authors in general about mistakes we’ve all made at some point early in our writing career.
First, before I start, I come from Inkpop.com where there were many people willing to point out every single mistake with a detailed explanation as to why they were mistakes and advice on how to change them. At first, it can be kind of scary, but after a while, one learns to love it. Here is my compilation of stuff I would say if I was still on Inkpop, but since I don’t know the Wattpad community as well, I’ll post here and hope it helps anyone who might have some of the same issues. (Again, it’s not you, and this is not meant to offend; I find a lot of mistakes in my old writing like the following issues, and am very glad that someone told me.)
I hope this helps! If you have anything you’d like to add to this, let me know in a comment and I’ll post it here. Vote, share, fan, do your worst! Let me know if you want me to help you with your work, give you an in-depth critique, and please share this!
