chapter 1

Marinette pov
"Marinette,  your gonna be late again" even tikki's small cheery voice didn't want to make me get out of my bed. Last night an akuma attacked and lasted till 2 am, and when the fight was finally over I also had homework." Oh great, if I'm late again miss Bustier said I would have detention;  and I can't tonight, I have patrol with chat noir." I jumped out of my bed as fast as I could. "Don't worry Marinette I already got an outfit picked out"
I seen what she picked out"tikki I can't wear this" tikki had picked a ladybug dress I designed."sure you can, beside you have no time to get something else." I couldn't argue she was right. I raced out of my room with the dress on.

"Bye momma, bye papa." As I ran to school. I got there when the warning bell rang letting me know I had 5 minutes till I had to get to class. I got into class with out being late and had time to spare. "Wow marinette you look amazing,  why are you all dressed up? Going on a date or something" asked Alya. Oh you, know alya I was going to be late so my kwami  picked out my outfit, its also ladybug themed cause i'm ladybug." Oh I over slept and I guess I didn't see what I put on." I did an innocent smile, as she nodded in understanding.

I watched as everyone looked at me in awe. "Ok, everyone take your seat; oh marinette you look wonderful. Good to see you made it on time, only wish Adrien would also be on time as well. "Just as she says that Adrien ran through the door. He handed miss Bustier a pass, then took his seat. " ok class, for today's assignment we will be creating a story it can be about anything, as long as it is realistic; I will be putting you into groups of 4." I looked around the room, I don't really care who all is in my group just as long it's not sabrina or chloe. I watched as every one was being put into groups waiting for my name to be called. I then heard a pure shrill of joy when Chloe ran over to Adrien saying "oh adrikins did you hear that we get to be partner's" Adrien then tried to get out of Chloe's grasp with a face of disgust but nothing would loosen the brats grip on him. I just laughed to myself. Then I heard my name called last, that would mean; Adrien, Chloe, Nathaniel, and I would be working in a group. When I got over to Nathaniel's desk I saw him drawing something on it. It was a picture of me (well of ladybug)."oh hey marinette...I already have an idea for our story, I've written it out," he said as he past me his summary of the story. I skimmed over it. It was very cool. He blushed a light crimson as his red hair covered his eyes. I sat down, the seat was soft and warm, so I moved my butt a little
"Um you comfortable" I recognized that voice. It belong to adrien. He must have slid in on the bench while I was looking at Nathaniel's desk. He just sits there laughing his perfect little head off."I...I mean.how...you sit the. When did you get there," I said nervously sitting on his lap still. He was about to say something when Chloe interrupted him by pushing me off him. I landed under the table."jeez Maritrash, stop being such a slut, Adrien isn't desperate, " said Chloe."no but you certainly are," I mumbled under my breath. Adrien seemed to have heard and chuckles at my commentary.I blush, hearing his laugh makes my heart flutter. I tried to get out from under the table but I was stuck because there was no room to move and get out. It's either I go up the way I came or stay there the rest of class; there's no way I was going up through Adrien's legs. Apparently Adrien had other ideas. "Here Marinette I'll help you," he said as he pulled me up by my arms and through his legs. He then grabbed my waist to where my legs are bent and around his waist and I'm sitting on him. My hands are on his shoulders,  and his are on my hips. It's like time itself has stopped. His eyes are locked on mine. I searched his green emerald eyes, but in reality it was just a brief second. We got interrupted by Nathaniel clearing his throat. "oh...umm...yeah, thanks Adrien,"we both blushed.I then got up and sat beside him. Adrien then reached over and grabbed Nathaniel's summary. "I think this would be a very cool idea,"He was right. For Nathaniel's summary was about ladybug and cat noir but in an alternate universe where everyone's personalities are opposite. "So that would mean Chloe would actually be nice," I said.Adrien, Nathaniel, and I all laughed.Chloe huffed and grabbed Nathaniel's summary from Adrien's grasp. She looked over the summary" oh please, Nathaniel, the teacher said the story had to be realistic, and this will never happen,"she said in the most annoying tone. Chloe then took Nathaniel's paper and crumpled it up and then tried to throw it in the trash can but missed on purpose. I then got up, I was so mad; while i was bending down to get the paper Chloe pushed me down to where I was laying down and her foot was on my stomach.I wasn't scared of her, but I did need to calm down before I got akumatized. She then leaned in close to my face. " stay down where you belong, and don't be saying i'm desperate, or the desperate one will be you. I'll show her, I was gonna kick her face in with my ladybug moves. I was, but then I felt tikki moving around in my bag as a warning not to do anything to cause an akuma. My luck came up as the bell rang.
