"Oh yeah sorry! Its 255 Green Ave. How long will you be?" You say trying to break the ice for the possibility to get to know him better. "Uh,, im not very sure actually. Maybe 20-30 mins. Is that ok??" You read as you are barely getting in the shower. "Lmao you're way better on time than me, oops" you say rushing to get ready faster because before you know it you will barely have your hair done and he'll be at your door. "Nah, ngl I was actually just really excited to go on this date that after work I immediately got ready" when you read this you get so excited and it gives you a boost and you're ready in no time. "Thats hella cute, ngl" you text back smiling and ready to see him. You hear a knock on the door and start to get anxious, "what if I look bad?? Or what if i like over dressed? I cant even remember where we are going. Did he even tell me?" You think to yourself as you go to welcome him in.You open the door and he is leaning on the damn pole outlining your porch looking like a whole snack, "wow.."you say looking at him and how the street lights shine behind him making him faintly visible but outlining his silhouette. "What?? You look like I just told you your parents died-sorry thats not a touchy subject is it? I don't want to seem insensitive." He says standing up straight walking to about a foot infront of you, you keeping your gaze locked in his face as he does so. "H-hello? Are you okay?" He says waving his hand infront of your face then placing his hand on your shoulder. "Oh- yeah sorry i just lost focus for a second, and to answer your question its not touchy, thank you for asking though." You say grabbing his hand and holding it. He looks down at you holding his hand but you notice he's not holding yours back so you let go. "Sorry was I too quick?" You say while looking at his shoes. You get no respose from him until you look into his eyes, he tilts his head and smirks at you. "Wait sorry, what? Sorry i didn't hear what you said" he says as he refocuses and looks around a little. "Oh its nothing. Are you ready" you say as you look from your left back up to him. "Uhh, yeah!" He says while grabbing your hand, leading you down the porch steps and to his car. "I wonder what was up with him?" You think to yourself.
