A Day Of Good and Bad Surprises

*They looked at Tessa's phone and the call was from Chance.*

Jake: "I'll answer."

*Jake picked up the phone.*

{Jake & Chance's Phone Call}

J: "Hello?" *He says in a protective voice.*

C: "Hey Jake, I just wanted to ask how Tessa was doing. I heard what had happened and-"

J: "And what? The reason this happened to her is because of you Chance, you hurt her so bad she almost committed suicide. You cheated on her one too many times, and she's had enough of you. So leave Tessa alone, got it?"

C: "Yes. I'm sor-"

J: "Don't even begin with that bullshit Chance."

{Jake hangs up}

*Jake looks at Tessa with a "don't worry everything will be alright" face. She leans on his shoulder and he pts his arm around her for the whole car ride.*

*Arriving Back At The Team 10 House.*

Erika: "TESSA! OH MY GOODNESS YOU'RE ALRIGHT!"

*Erika squeezes Tessa into a tight hug.*

Nick: "Don't worry, Chance and Alissa are OFFICIALLY off Team 10...for good."

Tessa: "Thanks Nick."

Tristan: "Tessles don't scare me like that!!"

*He hugs Tessa.*

Tessa: "I know, and I'm sorry for scaring everyone like that. I shouldn't have tried to deal with emotions and feelings like that on my own when I have such a supportive family that would be concerned if I ever overdosed over a stupid boy and a fake friend. Thanks everyone."

Jake: "GROUP HUGGGGG!"

*Team 10 bear hugs Tessa and she starts laughing."

Jake: "

*How about we all go to The Grove for a movie and dinner? My treat."

*Tessa's POV*

Jake chose "Rings" knowing I hate scary movies. The movie lasted about 3 hours. I was holding onto Jake's arm the entire movie. I glanced over and I noticed Anthony and Erika cuddling! I tapped Jake to show him and he was surprised. After the movie ended I woke up with Jake's hoodie around me like a blanket and me resting on his arm like a pillow. Jake is so soft and warm, he's like a big, fluffy, cuddly teddy bear.

Jake: "Enjoy the movie?"

Tessa: "No?! It was so scary!"

Jake: "Yeah for the 30 minutes you were awake for it out of 3 hours." *He laughed.*

Tessa: "Hey! *I friendly hit him on the head.*

*Jake's POV*

Tessa friendly hit me on the head like we were a couple. I love Tessa so much. I want to ask her out but I'm nervous, I mean why wouldn't she say no? But she could also have a lot on her mind and ask me to wait a few, but I just went for it. I built up all my courage for this moment and it was finally going to happen. Here goes nothing..

Jake: "Tessa can you come here for a second?"

Tessa: "Sure Jake."

*They got up and walked to the lobby, and went down the hallway leading to the restrooms.*

Jake: "Tessa, I need to ask you something.."

Tessa: "Sure what is it?"

*Tessa's POV*

Is this actually happening right now?! I can't believe Jake is about to ask me out! I've been waiting for this moment forever. I love Jake so much my heart drops whenever I even think about him.

Jake: "Will you..be..my uh.. *uhm..my uh..*

Tessa: "Jakey, don't be nervous it's just me. Tell me what you're going to say."

Jake: "Will you be my..girlfriend?..

Tessa: "Of course I will be."

*Tessa's POV*

Jake's face lights up like a kid in a candy store. He's so adorable. He picks me up and hugs me and spins me around like he just won the lottery or something. I can't stop smiling. We walk back into the theater and all of Team 10 is staring at us. I look at Jake and nod and let him know that he can tell everyone the news.

Jake: "Everyone, me and Tessa are officially dating."

Tessa: "Jessa is real!"

Erika: "I'm so happy for you T!! Congrats you two aww!!"

*Erika hugs Tessa tight.*

Anthony: "Congrats bro, you gotta give me tips to get Erika haha."

Jake: "Where should we all go out to eat?"

Nick: "That movie was honestly too much, why don't we just go home and order some OFC?"

Jake: "Yeesh Nick I didn't say a fancy restaurant.."

*Everyone laughs as they pack up their belongings and head back to the Team 10 van. Jake lets Kade drive so he could be with Tessa in the back. He puts his arm around her and falls asleep on her head. Tessa giggled and hugged him closely, they were finally happy.*

*Jake's POV*

I woke up on top of Tessa's head. We finally got home from the theater. Tessa looked at me and smiles as we got out of the van. Nick called KFC but as we were ordering a bunch of fans came up to our house and brought 13 Dominos pizza's! Jake Paulers are honestly the best! We all ate the pizza and watched the Cavs game replay on TV until everyone went to their rooms.

Erika: "Goodnight everyone sweet dreams."

Anthony: "Night guys. Night Erika."

Erika: "Goodnight Tonz" *She blushed*

Jake: "OooOoOoo Anthony getting Erikaaaaa."

Anthony: "Haha shut up. Night you two."

Tessa: "Jake, can you sleep with me tonight? That movie was honestly so scary.. I need my Jakey to protect me." *She said giggling.*

Jake: "Of course, anything for my Tessipoo." *he cringed and laughed.*

*Tessa's POV*

We went upstairs into Jake's room and lied on his bed. Jake went to change for bed and I was under the covers, still scared of the movie. He came back in with his gym shorts on and went under the covers. He put his arms around me, holding me, and protecting me. I hugged his arms tight and went right to sleep.

Jake: "Goodnight beautiful."

Tessa: "Goodnight Jake. I love you."

Jake: "I love you more."

*They both fell asleep*
