Talking with Strangers

chapter 3

I was awoken by  my phone buzzing. I groaned as I sat up, my head colliding with my headboard. 

"Today is not my day." I sighed. 

I slowly slid back into bed, but was disturbed by another buzzing sound. I searched for my phone on my dresser. I grasped it and typed in my password. I looked at my notifications and saw that V texted me.

V: heyy

avaspence: yo yo yo

V: did you get your sushi ??

avaspence: no, i went straight home and passed out :((

V: aw man

avaspence: so how are you?

V: im good, just tired. you?

avaspence: why are you texting me then?? go to sleep !! and im fine, i just woke up :))

V: ugh fineeee

V: ill miss you tho

avaspence: aww, im so flattered 😊😊 

V: :)) well im gonna go sleep now. bye ! and get some sushi

avaspence: bye !! will do :))

I smiled and started to text my best friend, Alayna. 

avaspence: hey boo, wanna get sushi with me ??

alaynajacobs: sure !! what time ??

avaspence: at around 1?? and ill be at ur house in about 10 minutes

alaynajacobs: smh i guess you can come over

avaspence: like you even had a choice 

I got up and stretched. I walked into my closet and picked an outfit. Black ripped skinny jeans and a maroon colored shirt. I slipped on my adidas and put on my blue jean jacket. I fed my dog, Rosie, and was out the door. 

I hopped into a taxi and gave directions to Alayna's house and soon, I was walking into her apartment. 

"Honey, I'm home!" I yelled, jumping on her couch. 

She walked out and rolled her eyes.

"I just cleaned that!" She yelled, shoving me feet off her couch. 

I smirked, "You know you love me." 

She rolled her eyes and shook her head.

"It's 12:53, we should head out." Alayna grabbed her stuff and we walked out the door.

We soon reached the sushi place, tired and hungry.

"I'm so out of shape." I groaned.  Alayna laughed. "Same." 

"Woah woah woah, calm down there." Alayna yelled at me. I selected multiple food items. After I was finished ordering, the total came up to $96.13. 

Alayna's eyes widened. "You do this everytime but i'm still shocked." I laughed. 

The food came and I had dozens of plates, and Alayna only had 4. I obviously couldn't finish it all, so I started shoving the food into my purse, and poured sauces into it. 

"Ava!" Alayna whisper shouted.  "Stop, they might see you!" 

I swallowed and shrugged, "I payed for it." 

"You can get a box like a normal person!!" She yelled.

My mouth formed a perfect o. "Why didn't I think of that..." 

Alayna laughed. "I swear, you're so dumb sometimes." 

We left the sushi place and decided to go shopping. We walked into Forever 21. Alayna decided to try on a dress, so I sat in the fitting rooms with her. She turned around.

"What do you think?" She asked. Before she turned around, I shoved a piece of sushi into my mouth. I quickly looked at the dress and nodded. 

"Thanks babe." 

"No problemo, boo." 

I quickly shoved another piece of sushi in my mouth, but this time I choked. 

Alayna started to pat my back to help me. After i finished choking/ laughing, she asked why I laughed. 

I pointed to the dress. In the corner was a taco.

"I fucking swear, I hate this place." Alayna sighed, taking the dress off. 

"Let's to to Tilly's." I said.

We walked out the door and we soon reached Tilly's.

After shopping for a while, we decided to head back to Alayna's house. 

"Sushi me, im starving." She said, palm out.

"Uh...." My voice trailed off.

"Ava no." 

"Ava yes."
