Y/n's POV
Kenshin, my best friend, walked beside me as we went to our fourth period class. School has been going on for a week and we already have a routine for the classes we do have together. Our fourth period class was an elective, which happens to be drama. The majority of the people in their thought drama would be an easy A but that quickly went down the drain. I can see in the games of improv that we have done that they thought we were just going to be doing little skits, but even then their acting isn't entertaining. There are people who get shy during improv or feel embarrassed when they don't have anything organized, but the one thing that always stresses people out is the number one rule in improv: we can't deny. We can't deny in anyway, shape or form.
"Oi! Are you even listening?" Kenshin asked in an annoyed manner.
"No." I say plainly.
"So mean!" He pouts. I smile a bit.
"You remind me of Yoosung from the game that my sister, Celeste, plays."
"Don't you dare compare me to her anime crap or whatever the hell it is!"
"Good, that way you don't insult it." There she is, the one who convinced me to take drama. She pops out of nowhere.
"Freaking hell!" The two of us shout and jump back. Celeste just laughs a little at us.
"How many times have I told you to stop doing that you damn ninja!?" I ask, rather annoyed at her. She acts if everyone is a toy but, she always cares about them.
"Many. You should have already figured out I'm not going to listen." She says as she walks with us. Sassy prick.... "Now, I've heard we're having a transfer student and they have drama for fourth period with us."
"Were you eaves dropping?" Kenshin gave her a dull look.
"It's not my fault that I have a bunch of drama queens in my PE class. They just don't know when to shut up. And of course it has to be the cheerleaders that have the same locker section as me." She sighs. "They always tend to talk about cup size somehow...."
"T.M.I!"
"Hush up, Kenshin. You may be gay but cup size can be heard normally around the school, even if it's mentioned for a brief moment."
"She's right about that...." I agreed with my sister.
"Who's side are you on, Y/n!?" My gay best friend asked.
"Don't put that against me...." I say as we walk into the drama room. As always, we're one of the first people here. There were three other people. One of them was probably in the restroom, there was Michael -goes by Tyrone- who sat on the small stage with his earbuds on as he messed with his phone, and Hailey, practically the star student in drama and nearly everything else. I believe Celeste is friends with all three of these people and a few others. Speaking of which, she lightly wacked the top of Tyrone's head, catching his attention.
"What'd you do that for?" He asked my sister as the three of us took a seat by him.
"You're a prick." She respond as she pulled her phone out to do whatever she does as she leaned back on the chair with her legs crossed over her backpack that she had set in the ground. I sat behind her with my backpack on the ground, since we're not supposed to hang them in the chairs in high school, while Kenshin sat to my right.
"You're a prick!" This guy with his lame comebacks.... Since Celeste sat at an angle in her chair, I was able to see her mischievous smirk plastered on her face.
"In that case, I can poke many holes into your flesh, as well as your eyes, but I wouldn't kill or let you bleed to death; oh no. I would wait for the bleeding to stop and to it all over again until you are six feet under."
"Scary...." Kenshin and I mutter in unison. Celeste can be dark but that's only because of all the stories she reads and writes.
"Wha!? Girl, you are mean." Tyrone told her.
"You're a perv." She said as she leaned back and continued to mess with her phone. Their bickering went on, Celeste always screwing him over, as more people walked into the classroom. One person caught my eyes. I haven't seen them in this class, making me guess that they are the transfer student. Kenshin, being the friendly guy he is, waved at them.
"Come sit with us!" He smiled at the transfer. They stayed quite and walked over to us. Celeste had stopped screwing with Tyrone since he completely gave up on trying to understand her. She then turned over and smiled at the transfer as they took a seat.
"Hey! What's your name?" She asked. This was one of those moments where she was being a social butterfly and not antisocial.
"Oh, I'm C/n." They answered. They were a little quite, like how I am when a teacher talks to me. They were in a white button up shirt, dark jeans and black shoes. What stuck out to me was the look in their eyes. They had a far off look yet, they seemed to be focused and held more emotion than they expressed on the outside.
"I'm Celeste. The douche sitting on the stage is Michel but he's on that faze where he as to have a cool name so he want to be called Tyrone."
"It's not a faze!" Tyrone glared at her.
"Said every other person with that faze in the world. Anyways, this knucklehead over here is my sibling." She said as she ruffled my hair.
"Hey! Hands off the hair!" I swat her hand and look over at C/n again. "I'm Y/n." I say as I fix my hair a bit.
"And I'm Kenshin." Kenshin butted in, but he was going to be introduced anyway.
"It's....nice to meet you all." They said.
"If you're shy, that's gonna go away quickly when you hang out with us." Celeste smiled at them.
"Yeah...." Their eyes wander over and lock onto mine. They then smiled slightly. "Let's see how it turns out...."
