CHAPTER ONE
Senior Year, finally.
Some may think that it’s their last, which is true but are they even sure all of them can graduate?
For others, seniors are like Graduation, Prom, Road Trips, Career Talks and more about deciding their own future and what they to get for college. Too bad I don’t think and aim high as them. In my opinion, Senior is like signing a resignation.
Why?
I, Tania Grace finally made it on my last year as a student of this crappy, boring, no good-at-all school! Oh my bad, I meant Infinity Private High, where students are bombarded with tons of homework, tests and has a 500+ page handbook, mostly consists of rules.
Let me mention some of my school’s oh so favorites: No gadgets in school, No make-ups, which explains why all of the girls look like hafa’s, I mean like half zombie, half monster, half dead, just a bunch of hafa’s. Vandalisms, Forging, Colored Hairs, Long Nails and even NAIL POLISH not allowed!! And trust me, there is more. But actually, there is one rule which I somehow agree with and that is, No PDA by means “No Public Display of Affection”.
I know what you’re thinking. You might think I’m just jealous because I have no boyfriend or I’m just like the other girls like in the movies or books that either I hate boys, or I dated once, but he cheated on me or I just have no interests in anyone but I have a best guy friend, and oh look at that, we realized we like each other.
Or worst of all, you might think that I’m the nerd, quiet girl who fell in love with the school’s Romeo type who took interest in me and we end up dating. Newsflash, I’m not! Who would want to study in a library when a couple is making out behind bookshelves or you saw disgusting silhouettes in a shower room? It ruins my iris.
My life is completely normal. Not jealous of anyone, I Never dated, No best guy friend but in my case it’s best gay friend. And lastly, yes as usual every high school in the world has a Prince Charming epitome, and sorry I’m not in love with him. Him I mean Aaron Dalton, the Casanova of my school. As usual ladies drool at him or do schemes on purpose to get his attention. I can recognize him by his strawberry blonde hair and green eyes in which the girls find it quite charming and charismatic.
I’m a girl, yes I want to fall in love or to be in a position where I want a certain guy to notice me, but I just don’t see it in him. It is pretty stupid. But sometimes, somewhere deep within my anatomy, I ask what might be his preference in women.
I finally arrived at the Silver Gate of the school and I’ve observed that the school grounds are already filled with students.
“Students!”
Argh, I know that voice somewhere, it could only be Miss Camille, who is known to be schools head of disciplinary actions.
She always had this grumpy, snobbish attitude towards students.
Since I’m the type of person who holds curiosity, I did a bit of research. She was named Camille, for she is named after the strong hurricane Camille, which occurred in 1969 and killed thousands and it creepily matches her personality quite well.
She, with her nine-foot size shoes is stomping towards my direction and looked at me with her sharp concave lens glasses.
“Ms. Grace” I gulped, wondering what she might say next.
”I need some assistance at the faculty room,”.
“Yes?” I replied steadily, averting my eyes away from her aura.
