The cold air danced upon my skin, whilst I walked down the wet alleyway. My thin green cardigan laid helplessly on my shoulders, supplying me with minimum heat. Along with my ripped jeans and black converse.

I walked faster as the darkness consumed the night and the only light radiated faintly from the street lamps. 'The convenience store is just up ahead', I thought to myself.

Upon arriving at the worn out, rusted shop, I walked through the broken glass doors and the ancient bell rang. "Hey Mr Jay", I waved friendly to the owner. Mr Jay is a friendly old man, he owned the store by himself and I always felt sorry for the old man and his worn out shop. He looked up from his tiny counter and nodded his head at me.

I walked down the empty, small aisles looking for the milk, bread and some fruit. After grabbing the milk and bread, I continued down another aisle on the other side of the shop looking for the fruit. I heard a faint ring of the bell through the store. 'This is the most costumers, this store has had in a while.' I thought.

"Give it to me!" A strong male voice yelled. I peered my eyes down the previous aisle I was in, giving me full view to the cash register. Not only was Mr Jay, shaking with fear as he whimpered to get the money out of the register, but three masked guys stood dangerously in front of him, pointing guns directly at Mr Jay's bald head.

"Oh, no." I whimpered. "What was that?"One of the masked men asked, turning sharply towards the aisle besides the one I was in. "Who else is in here?" What looked like the leader asked, pointing the gun roughly onto Mr Jay's head. "I-I...No one." He answered. "You better not be lying to me old man." He said. "I'm n-n....." Mr Jay began but the back of the gun hit Mr Jay hard against his head, knocking him to the ground.

A small squeak escaped my lips. Loud thuds of feet began to walk dangerously towards me. Not knowing what to do I ducked under a dirty, metal tray filled with sweets. As the thud got closer I fiddled in my pocket, digging around for my phone. Three pair of black boots came into my sight, walking around the store, searching around.

I turned my phone on and the light shined brightly into my eyes. My fingers shook constantly as I began to type; 9-1...... A hand suddenly pushed the tray roughly over, knocking the contexts of it onto the floor.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" One of the masked man questioned evilly with a smirk amongst his face. "Over here boys!" He yelled, signaling for the other two to come over. His muscular arms, ripped me from the ground, pulling me into his hard chest.

"Let me go!" I screeched trying to get out of his concrete like grip, but he wouldn't budge. "Don't be so quick to make demands." Said what seemed to be the leader, who walked out with the other masked man trailing him.

"Let me go you piece of s.." My cheek burned, that asshole, he just slapped me. If looks could kill the one I just sent the leader would end him instantly. Fire lit up inside of me and I spat at the leader. His face turned from a smirk to a look of disgust. He raised his hand ready to punch me, when the third man, grabbed his fist and whispered something into his ears.

Another smirk formed onto the leader's lips. Whilst I wiggled restlessly against the arms wrapped around my waist, holding me back, ready to wipe that smug look off off his masked face.

Sirens began to ring from outside the shop. Thank God, I thought, Mr Jay must've woke up and called the  police. Unfortunately the three thugs also heard the sirens. The one holding me gripped harder onto my waist and started to drag me through the shop. The leader said, "follow me, bring the girl with us, she's got a mouth on her." "No, no.. please." I stuttered towards the leader.

"Shut her up!" He replied, talking to the guy holding me, almost as if I was invisible. "Help... Help...Please help m..." A hard object hit my head, sending me smashing to the ground. My eyes blurred, as I tried to maintain balance. But I was suddenly lifted lifelessly onto the shoulders of the original guy holding me.

As I tried to focus on my surrounding, I noticed that we were running through the dark of the night. Heading towards a van, parked directly outside of the small shop. Blue and red lights shined through the darkness. But I was soonly pushed off his shoulder into the back of the van.

'Oh shit' I thought.
