If im being honest I had this chapter written out about a year and a half ago but I didnt like it so it just sat there and everyday i said I was going to fix it but I just never got around to it. I need to stop being so insecure about my writing. Sorry guys. I swear it wont take another two years for the next chapter
My Wolf Mate
I wake up in the middle of the night shivering from the cold and look around for my sheet. I turn and see Louis snuggled up with the sheet wrapped all around his body. I grab for one side of it and pull but the blanket wouldn't budge. I try to shake Louis awake but he just pulls the cover tighter to him. Sighing I get out of the bed and exit the room. I decide to go downstairs and walk around for a little while. After about 10 minutes I hear someone else coming down stairs and I quickly duck behind the counter.
"Is someone down here?"I breath a sigh of relief when I hear Liam's sleepy voice mutter and I slowly come from behind the counter.
"Yeah. It's only me."I say sitting back down at the table.
"Oh hey. Couldn't sleep huh."He questions coming over to sit at the table across from me.
"Yeah. Louis wouldn't share the blanket and I was cold so I came down here."I explain and Liam nods his head tiredly. "What about you?"
"I heard someone down here and thought I'd check it out." he says.
"Yeah well I was about to make my way back up anyway." I say and he nods his head and slowly gets up from the chair. We walk silently back up the stairs and Liam goes to his room and I stop at my door. After waiting a few seconds at my own door I Instead go to Liam's door and knock softly. It takes a couple seconds but Liam comes to the door rubbing his eyes.
"Yes?"He questions tiredly.
"Can I sleep in here with you for the night?" I timidly ask.
"Ugh i dont know how za-.'"
"Please?"I ask again when I see the hesitance on his face. "Zayn wont even know. Ill be out before he wakes up."I say and quietly step into the room when he moves aside to let me in.Liam lies down and lifts the cover for me to get in next to him and I scoot in next to him.
"Thanks Liam."I whisper and get a soft snore in response.
The next morning I wake up to someone shaking me awake a little too aggressively and I push their hands away but they come back almost immediately.
"What do you want?"I mutter eyes still closed.
"Niall what the hell are you doing?"That oh so familiar voice questions.
"What the hell does it look like I'm doing?"I offer eyes still closed intent on getting a few extra minutes of sleep. I feel two hands lift me from the bed and I open my eyes and glare at Zayn. "What are you doing?"I intone but he just ignores me with a stern look on his face. "Zayn put me down."I demand and he doesn't until were in his room.
"What the hell Niall?"Zayn fumes.
"What?"I question.
"What the hell do you think that was?"
"Um sleeping" I conclude.
"Niall." Zayn breaths. "Why were you in Liam's bed. "He questions slowly as if he was speaking to a small child.
"Louis wouldn't share the blanket so I left the room and bumped into Liam. Why do you need to know?"I ask and then I see the look in his eyes and understand. "Wait. Zayn are you jealous?"I smile.
