It was the last day of high school. The awards ceremony hasn't begun yet, so I decided to take a walk.
I went outside to the commons and walked along the sidewalk. Out of nowhere, my stepbrother and his bros grabbed me by the arms and punched my stomach causing me to collapse in pain. They were amused by my suffering, so they dragged my face onto the concrete.
I couldn't get up, so I just stayed on the ground taking in their kicks and punches as I scream and yell for help hoping a staff member could hear me and end this, but nobody came.
After they walked away and left me on the ground, I weakly got up and dragged myself back inside.
The rest was a blur, but I do remember that after the awards ceremony, in each classroom, there was some sort of game going on. Students could play the games and win cool prizes!
