How It All Began

"Aren't you excited, Kazuko?" my mother asked me.

I nodded my head.

Why am I excited? After three months, me and my family will go back to Japan. I was invited to sing in an anniversary of something I don't care about. Even though I stopped singing for awhile, that doesn't mean I won't sing. So basically, we are not there for vacation.

Anyway, back to the point. I wasn't really be excited to be tackled by crazy fans but, I was excited because I could sing. I couldn't sing that much anymore because of some freakishly, annoying business I must do. Whenever I sing, I just feel..... free. It's like all the emotions I kept inside pours out when I sing.

Everything was alright before something happened. Something tragic. My mother's death. She died in a car accident just a few days after we discussed about going back to Japan. It happened so fast that I still couldn't believe it happened.

I was sad and depressed but if you could see what I could see right now, you would even forget I cried.

After knowing that Mom died, Dad changed. He started drinking, gambling, and wasting money. Every night, my dad comes home with either a group of drunk men or a group of girls that you see on the bar. He would treat me like a freaking slave even on public. News spreads pretty fast and before you know it, it's on each and every social media you see.

I lock myself up in my own room for three long months. Oh, and if you're wondering how I survived, easy. Sneaking out without permission is one of the best things I do. (Don't copy me, kids! Don't wanna be the one responsible for your own actions!)

I did the second thing over and over again before I realized.......I HAVE A FREAKING COMPUTER IN HERE!!!!!!!!!!

What's wrong with me? I seriously hope my father isn't influencing me. Using the computer became a daily routine for me. I know it's not good, especially on people my age. But what do you expect me to do? I can't go to school, I can't get out of my room....mostly like I don't want to go out of my room, knowing that my crazy psycho dad is just waiting to slap me around.

That is child abuse but, even if I call the police.....*sighs* you know people these days. Money does all the work.

A month later, I heard about this awesome-thing-that-I-don't-want-to-say-what-it-is-because-i-feel-like-it. I grabbed some money and sneaked outside.

I saw a shop with a long line of people behind the door. I asked some random guy of what's going on. (A/N: She's wearing a jacket with a hood so that no could recognize her) He said that they were lining up to buy the thing I wanted to buy.

I can't waste my precious time on lining up so I began to think of what I could do to get these people away. I thought for a few more minutes before an idea, no, a word popped out of my head.  MONEY. I wondered if this would lure them away from what I want.

I ran to the roof of a building, grabbed a basket, and filled it with money.  I don't care if I waste money. There's still plenty of them on my seven bank accounts. I then shouted with my loudest voice, "ATTENTION PEOPLE!!! LOOK AT WHAT I GOT! A BASKET FILLED WITH PRECIOUS MONEY! TRY TO GRAB THEM BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!"

I threw the money on the ground then a whole bunch of people started running towards the pile of money. I sighed, people these days. I then ran to the empty shop.

I bought that thing and headed out the shop. But before I exited the shop, I paused. What's the point of this without a game?

I turned around and looked for a game. I saw a game called Sword Art Online which seems cool and popular since only one is left. I bought it and ran back home to try it.

I put on the helmet-like thing and closed my eyes.

I opened my eyes just to see the color black everywhere. I was confused until everything became blue and a voice said to me,

"Welcome to Sword Art Online."

And that's how it all began.
