New life

Gold woke up to a familiar face, one she thought she wouldn't see here on Phyrria. "FutureSight?!" Gold asked waking up completely. "Hello, sister." He said with no emotion as always. "Why are you here?" Gold asked, curling her tail around her talons. "I wanted to see the old Night Kingdom, and how your doing." He replied. She didn't realize anyone knew she left, or cared. "Why would you want to check on me? How did you know I even left?" She asked him and before he answered Darkstalker walked in. "Why hello Darkstalker," FutureSight said and bowed. "You must be FutureSight," he replied bowing as well, "it's ice to meet you," Darkstalker said and they both laughed. "You must've lived in a time where that was funny," FutureSight said and continued laughing. "I guess it would get a little old by now wouldn't it?" Darkstalker said smiling. Gold looked at them sadly, no one ever acted like this around her. She would try introducing herself and make jokes but no one would listen. Seeing them getting along so fast, she was jealous, not enough to act it though. She went to climb out the window when FutureSight stopped her. "Where are you going? We're having fun aren't we?" He asked, this was the only real emotion she ever saw from him even in his mind there was nothing. "I don't think I know what fun is," Gold replied taking off to explore the kingdom. She landed in a plaza with other dragons seemingly doing the same as her, exploring the Buildings and homes. She gained a few stares from others but only one stood out to her. Someone was running towards her. The mysterious dragon came right up to her and seemed to study her lifting Golds wings and studying her claws and face. "So it really is you!" She excitedly yelled, making gold confused. Someone knew about her and wanted to see her? This was definitely new. "Are you sure it's me you're looking for? I'm pretty uninteresting," Gold said looking at her new... friend? "Uninteresting!? Your THE Golden Nightwing! Hero of us all, or wait, soon to be hero!" She exclaimed "Oh! And I'm Moondrop," she said and before Gold could answer she cut in "don't worry I already know your name," Moondrop said. She beckoned Gold to follow her and took off towards one of the houses. Gold, not having anything else to do, followed. When they got there Moondrop introduced her to her parents saying how it's the dragon from her visions. They welcomed Gold with open wings and Gold couldn't have been happier. Night time came around and Gold went back to the palace. She was almost immediately greeted by FutureSight, "So, did you meet her?" He asked Gold turning to walk beside her. "Who? Moondrop? If so, then yes," She replied. "Good, I can see your two are going to be great friends," Future sight said, playing with the jagged ruby on his necklace. Then out of absolutely nowhere, he hugger her. Wings wrapped around gold and holding her tight. Then she felt something wet, he was crying. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry that you've been miserable, and I'm sorry that everyone has seen you as a monster, even when you changed yourself. I'm sorry for not doing this sooner, saying that I love you and I always have, if I didn't hide my feelings, if I didn't obey our father, he would've killed me and you definitely wouldn't been like this forever. If I wasn't around, you wouldn't have came here, you wouldn't have thought that killing Darkstalker was your destiny, that is also a lie. I needed to tell you so you would meet her, Moondrop, and be happy for once, I'm sorry," he finished, then pulled away. Gold was speechless, all this time she thought she was alone, no one cared. Now the brother she thought was just a emotionless seer working for the queen and their father, was hiding his love for her to protect both him and her.
