Jack's POV
I woke up to my parents fighting.
I sighed. They do this every morning.
I want to wake up to my ma, gently shaking my telling me it's time for school.
But no.
Never.
I grabbed my glasses off my nightstand and stretched.
I slowly got up and went to my closet.
I looked around.
I saw a light green sweater and tan pants.
I wanted to look classy.
I went through my drawers to find a bow tie.
I found a black one and put it on.
I looked at myself in my mirror.
'You look ugly no matter what you do'
I sighed. I never look good. Especially now that my hair is a green blob on my head.I looked at my phone.
7:10. I'm supposed to be at school by 7:45.
I better get to walking.
I walked down the stairs slowly. The yelling got louder.
I tried to not get noticed and kept walking with my head down.
I grabbed my backpack and left.
I never eat breakfast. Ever. I'm to fat to eat. At least that what everyone else says.
I sighed and looked down.
I put my headphones in.
I finally saw the school gates.
I sighed and walked in.
I live close to the school so I get here early.
I made my way to my locker.
I opened it and grabbed all my work books.
I saw my favorite book.
I grabbed it and smiled. I closed my locker and walked to my first class.
I saw the my teacher was already in there.
I smiled once more.
He looked up. "Hey Jack, are you gunna read again?" He asked nicely.
"Yeah, am I going to be bothering you?" I asked nervously.
He chuckled. "Of course not. Go ahead and read." He said while smiling.
I nodded and made my way to my seat. It was in the front of the room.
I set my stuff down gently and started to read.
After awhile I heard the bell ring.
I sighed and put my book down.
A ton of kids came rushing in. I took out my notebook and waited patiently.
But I heard someone say my name. I listened. "I swear, that Jack kid is weird. He wears the weirdest clothes. He's a gay freak."
Everyone around her laughed.
I put my head down.
I felt eyes on me. I looked up to see Mr. Black looking at me confused.
I rubbed my eye and did a fake yawn. He smiled and turned to the board.
I sighed in relief.
I grabbed my pencil and started to write down notes he had on the board.
"Jack, can you come up here and solve this problem?" He asked.
I smiled and nodded.
I got up and went to the board. It was a math problem.
I did the math and got my answer. Mr. Black looked at my in amazement. "That is correct. We'll all do a harder problem tomorrow." He announced.
I smiled.
I heard kids all over groan. "Really Jack?" One said out loud.
"Hey, to need a challenge." Mr. Black scolded that person.
Before we could do anything more, the door opened.
I saw Mark walk in. He's the school's punk kid.
"You're late Mr. Fischbach." Mr. Black frowned while saying that.
Mark rolled his eyes. "I know, I know." I sighed.
"Please take a seat Mr. Fischbach." He announced.
Mr. Black looked back at the kid that shouted out.
"And for you, don't make fun of Mr. McLoughlin because he solved that difficult problem."
I saw Mark look at the kid that did it. Probably just to tell him good job or something.
I looked down.
"M-Mr. Black, y-you don't h-have to w-worry about I-it." I whispered. He looked at me confused.
"Jack, please take your seat." He said that with a sad look on his face.
I nodded slowly and walked back my seat.
I laid my head on my desk and wrapped my arms around my face.
Mr. Black key me. He knows my past.
He's the only ones me I can vent to. But I don't want to talk about it anymore.
'You're such a wimp. You're weak. This is why you're parents aren't happy, because they had you.'
I felt a silent tear escape my eye.
I hate everyone and everything. My life sucks.
Why can't anyone notice?
