Gilgreng General Store are the first words I read as I drug Kleo out of Fathers truck.
................................................................
Kegan looked to the left and saw Her Father filling the truck with gas, "Darling go inside and get six pounds of flour and two pounds of the Meat is the day" said Father after handing me 10 Dollar bills.
"Yes Father" Kegan said as she grabbed Her seven year old brothers hand and led Him towards the store.
The store didn't look like your normal gas station instead of gas tanks there were about fifty gallon gas jugs stacked atop each other, next to them there was a sign that read
"2 dollers for 1 gallin". Kleo eyed it for a second then proudly stated "that ain't how you spell gallon or dollar, whoever wrote it must be dumb". That got us a very dirty look from the fiery red headed storekeeper who was leaning on the counter inside the store.
Remembering what My Brother had said I slapped Him upside the head after saying "boy you don't say things like like it's rude"
Kleo just looked up at Me with puppy dog eyes let go of my hand and ran to the screen door of the shop looked through at the shopkeeper and said "that lady sure does look a lot like us".
