hehe.. sorry i had to ;u; even though i ship klance and stuff, heith (idk if that's the ship name um??) will be here but in zane~chan form because... there is no way kawaii~chan is close to lance so um.. forgive me for making this and for cheese~sama to be her normal voltron trash self but on a zane~chan account ;u;

tiny note about this one-shot and jazz;;
so uhm i didn't really know who should be who so bare with me.

coran: garroth (cause why not)

also sorry if you have no idea what's going on and all that crap and stuff. if you don't watch or ever heard of voltron, i will spare you life for telling you not to watch it because i am most likely going to bring you into the fandom. and just to tell you, the fandom is basically hell, but in a good and bad way i guess. okay im saying too much enjoy this i guess.

p.s. kawaii~chan speaks in first person and zane isn't wearing his mask... sorry.

"All right paladins. Since you all can't get along quite well," Aphmau said sternly and glared at Zane and Travis. "There will be another bonding exercise. Partners will be assigned." Aphmau crossed her arms and looked at all the paladins of Voltron, a giant robot cat thing, defender of the universe and all that cool junk. Most of them sighed, except Aaron though. "Sometimes I question why all of you are even the paladins.." Aphmau muttered and gave them their assigned partners for the exercise.

"Please don't be Zane, please don't be Zane.." Travis whispered to himself, quietly praying to Irene not to be with his so-called arch rival.

"Aaron and Katelyn will be partners," Aphmau pointed at the shorter one and then the taller one. "Heh, all right." Katelyn chuckled a little while pushing her glasses back up to the bridge of her nose.

"Travis and - " Aphmau got cut off by Travis. " Please don't pick Zane!" He pleaded. Zane scoffed and crossed his arms.

"And why is that, Travis?" Aphmau seemed to be a tiny bit taken back somehow. "Two words, arch rivals." Travis put two of his fingers up indicating the words he said. "Oh um.. okay. You and Garroth shall be partners." Aphmau shrugged.

"Wh- princess I'm not even a paladin," Garroth gasped a little. "Just um, stick with it Garroth.." Aphmau literally had no one else to put Travis with. She though could've picked Kawaii~Chan seeming as they had a best friend vibe kinda going with them, but Aphmau didn't.

"Lastly, Kawaii~Chan and Zane. You will have to bond with something you both like to do. Now you may go." Aphmau said and left the six standing there in a quite awkward silence.

"Hey uh, Aaron. Want me to try and upgrade your arm? It might help in our future battles with the Galra," Katelyn offered. Aaron didn't really have a thing for fixing things, but he went with it since he wanted more tactics for battle and thought it would help. "Okay sure." He agreed. The two walked over to Katelyn's dorm room in the ship, but also castle thing.

"Garroth can you show me some of the plants, including Earth?" Travis looked at Garroth with a little bit of sadness. Travis missed Earth and all his friends and family back there.

"Sure just follow me, Travis." Garroth guided Travis to the main part of the castle to take a look at some plants, as Travis wanted.

"Well, is there anything you like to do Zane?" Kawaii~Chan looked over at the 'emo' paladin. "Well, I usually train or sleep sometimes.." Zane said.

"Do you want to try and make some cupcakes with me? I know it might be impossible to make them since all we have is Altean stuff, but do you want to?" Kawaii~Chan offered. Kawaii~Chan was a pro at baking and cooking some meals. She though was better at making sweets.

"Uh.. sure." Zane smiled lightly at the mei'fwa. Kawaii~Chan grinned and grabbed Zane by his wrist and dragged him over to the kitchen part of the castle.

Kawaii~Chan pulled out a couple of different sized bowls, some measurers, and a few utensils to mix the batter. Zane literally had no idea how to bake cupcakes, but he does like to eat them. "Now we have to find the right ingredients.." Kawaii~Chan said putting a finger on her chin, thinking. She looked around the place.

Zane decided to help out a bit so he opened a cabinet and pulled out what seemed to be flour but a pink color. "What about this?" Zane asked, looking at Kawaii~Chan who examined the product. "Do you know how to read Altean?" Kawaii~Chan asked slightly lifting and eyebrow. "No, not really. Should I ask Aphmau what this is?" Zane said starting to back away slowly so he could ask Aphmau what this is. "Sure. While you do that I'll try to find more ingredients. Last time I tried to make cookies they turned into crystals. They came in handy at least for when we needed to make a wormhole.." Kawaii~Chan chuckled slightly as Zane left.

Zane then came back to Kawaii~Chan covered in blue powder and had apparently figured how to make cupcakes in space by herself. "Oh uh.." Zane muttered. Kawaii~Chan stopped mixing and looked up to see Zane. She smiled then said, "Hey!". "Well, Aphmau said that the pink flour thing was actually used to make Altean cakes so uh yeah.." Zane crossed his arms. "That's good to know! I already used it anyway since I was a tiny bit impatient and I really wanted to make cupcakes soon," Kawaii~Chan said and went back to mixing. Zane felt like he wasn't needed anymore in this, but it was a bonding exercise. "Need any help?" Zane offered, walking over to Kawaii~Chan. "Yep! Can you mix the frosting batter, please?" Kawaii~Chan said. Zane nodded and did it right away. "Wait, how did you get the ingredients for the frosting?" Zane asked. "I got the milk from Kaltenecker and the others from the kitchen. Had no idea what they said since it was all in Altean so I just tried to go with it." Kawaii~Chan shrugged. "Right then.." Zane mixed the frosting ingredients together.

Soon the cupcakes were made and it actually turned out perfectly. "Now time to see if it tastes good.. would you like to do the offers?" Kawaii~Chan handed Zane a cupcake. "Gladly," Zane took the cupcake and took a bite of it. "Hmm.. this actually tastes good. Not bad for a cupcake made in space." Zane took another bite. "Yay! I want to try now." Kawaii~Chan took one too and bit into it. Kawaii~Chan gasped. "This is good! We did a good job, Zane." Kawaii~Chan smiled. "Yeah, I know right-" Zane got cut off by Kawaii~Chan as she gave him a peck on the cheek. This made Zane flustered and immediately blush. Kawaii~Chan grinned and just bit into her cupcake again like nothing happened.

(i should be doing an essay and a lab report but nah. wanted to give you guys a oneshot that you probably won't read but meh there ya go. yw.)
