The guards settled on the horses and prepared for the ride. The villagers hurried to make food in excitement of the prince's arrival. Some were not that happy.
"You all should burn in hell for what you are doing to that poor girl." An older woman spoke up. She wore rags as all the other villagers and her white hair was hard not to be noticed. The villagers gathered up around her and started shouting their opinions.
"She is not our concern. The prince is. We would all be locked up by the king or become slaves, if it wasn't for the prince's kindness." A man shouted.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
"She should hang herself! How dare she live with locking up a royal figure? Has she no shame?" Another woman shouted from behind the crowd.
"There is no way she would hang herself. She is the only prettiest girl in this entire village. Why would she leave such a title behind? Even her family is respected because of that. I doubt the parents will let a child be dead, even if she committed a crime." The man next to the woman said out loud.
"What a shameless creature. We should rob her house." A man shouted and rushed with his men towards Hangeul's house and crashed the door with hammers.
The older woman tried to shove the opinions down the rude men's throats but it was all in vain. Nothing could change the opinions and judgements of the villagers. They all supported the royal highness.
"That is not right." The older woman said while the men took the belongings of Hangeul's house. "It is not ours to take, Meronic"
Meronic, a man that ruled the village. His men at the word of his would kneel down like dogs to do anything he says. Carrying a large wooden table with two other men he said, "If her and her family became traitors, then there is no place for them in our village."
