after an hour the nurse said visiting hours were over and we had to leave. When we got to Lizzi's house, when I walked in Alyson, Alexander, and Bailey all ran up and asked if I was ok, and I said" Mommy is fine" " where is daddy" Daddy is at the hospital" that was one of the hardest things to explain to my kids.
The next few days were a blur, Lizzi watched the kids most of the time and i sat next to Aaron. I was giving up hope when out of no where Aaron said"whats for dinner" in that same sarcasric tone and his signature smirk,at this moment I wanted to hug and smack him but I just started crying and he said"hey babe its ok come here" and pulled me into the hugs me and Lizzi always gave him in 8th grade when he was going through a hard time. It was then and there I realized that I need him and couldnt live with out his hugs. For the rest of the day we just hugged, it was the one of best and worse days of my life.
