Retro Summer

Prologue

JAIME

"C'mon guys!" Diamond squealed as she jumped up and down, "Let's not waste anymore time! The summer isn't going to party on its own!"

I giggled at her enthusiasm, "Your Aunt Danny is wicked!"

We all stopped in front of a big turquoise beach house, "That's one big beach house..." Victor mumbled.

"Sure is!" Olivia agreed and laughed.

"Let's get inside then!" Diamond smiled and opened the door for us, "Just so you guys know, each of our rooms have our names on a piece of paper on the door, 'kay?" She added as she pulled the door shut behind her.

We all nodded in agreement to show that we understood and we each made our way up the stairs to find 'our' rooms.

I found the room labeled 'Jaime' and tried my best to open the door one-handed. Fortunately, it worked. I lightly pushed the door open and started to examine the room.

It had baby blue walls with a white four-poster queen-sized bed and a door that led to an on suite bathroom. A red bean bag was pushed into the top left corner of the room and next to it was a white desk with what looked like an IKEA wheel-y chair. A window was installed near the bed and a white dresser was placed next to it.

"Sweet," I mumbled to myself.

I flopped onto the bed as I dropped my luggage off my arms.

"Oh yes, lord, new realms of pleasure," I said into the quilt and slowly start to drift into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up to someone literally shaking me like I was a cola bottle, begging to explode.

"Wake up JJ!" My eyes adjusted to see Olivia was (not literally) killing me.

"I thought Diamond was the enthusiastic one," I chuckle and get out of bed, making the bed as soon as the last limb leaves from under the covers.

"Breakfast will be ready soon," my friend smiled and left the room. I pulled on the closest outfit and ran downstairs.

"Finally! She's awake!" My brother Bailey laughed and patted the seat next to him.

I took the seat and started eating the breakfast in front of me.

"I've got a bunch of things we could do today!" Diamond semi-sang and took a list out from her pocket.

"We are playing truth or dare tonight, right?" Duke asked, winking at Diamond.

Diamond giggled and blushed, "Of course Duke,"

Victor mumbled something like, "Oh gosh..." and crossed his arms.

Man, this was going to be a long summer. Not in a bad way, but I just know something is going to happen.

I feel it tingling in my skin.
