We were once childhood friends – inseparable to the eyes of the people. We used to do things together. We used to play all those kiddy games, we used to bicker on stupid things, we used to laugh and joke around when it’s the two of us.

Not too long after, middle school came and that’s when everything fell apart and shattered. He changed. He wasn’t that goofball I once met. He wasn’t the same old best friend I used to have who would treat me like I’m the only person in the planet with him. He changed. And that’s something I did not willingly accept. He was the bad boy now.

High school came, and this time – not even friends or acquaintances could label both of us now. He’s still the bad boy in the school. Me? I’m the girl who would keep her grades in a straight A mark, I’m the girl who would rather be cooped up in the library, stuffed with books and escape in a world of fantasies and make-believe.

But, one little mistake I’ve done sent everything to crumble down. Everything was surely about to change once more.
