Accepted Into an All-Boys School

   I got on the yellow school bus, hoping that this day of school was not going to be as terrible as the last.

   I sat in the sixth bus seat, like I always do. I didn't have many friends at school, and I never see the ones that I do have. When I am around, they never really talked to me.

   I put on my headphones and waited until we got to school.

---Time Skip---

   We finally arrived after a thirty minute ride.

   After fighting to get through the pushing crowds, I went into my homeroom class, Math.

   I sat down, just as the bell rang. All of the other kids stared as I walked in, like I was a deadly disease or a creature of the wild.

   "Today, we will be having a quiz. It will count as twenty percent of your grade. So if you fail it, your grade will surely fall." Mr. Adams looked directly at me when he said this, as if he knew my grade by looking at me.

---Time Skip---

   I arrived home after failing a test, getting punched in the stomach in the hallways, hit by a dodgeball, and

falling asleep in history class.

   "I'm home everyone! " I called, just as my parents walked into the room. They looked at each other, and then back at me. "Don't get too excited now." I said, sarcastically.

   "We have something to tell you, _____. " My mother said, smiling as my father did. I looked at them, probably making the dumbest possible face anyone has ever made.

   "You have been accepted into Gakuen High School Academy!"

   My eyes widened. "Mom, Gakuen is an all boys school. Didn't you know that? It's for all those smart people too! You know, the ones who are gifted and most likely make bad grades on their math tests."

   "We know, _____, but that's why you will have a disguise!" My mother looked at me, with a mile-wide smile. " It seems that you are talented enough to go there, but first we need to go shopping for clothes, maybe even a haircut!"

---Time Skip---

   After arriving at the mall, my mom went all out on shopping.

   "How about this one?" She held up a blue sweater to me, measuring.

   "No, even I wouldn't wear that." My father replied, shaking his head.

   "Fine. He can gave this one instead." She put a few more clothing items into the cart as we made our way to where we would get my haircut.

   I mentally wished my hair farewell as she cut most of it off.

   As I came back home, I layed down on my bed and waited for tomorrow.
