My Brother's Bride - Sasuke Uchiha

Chapter 10

The next morning the household was joyful as Itachi came back from London after 3 years. In the morning a hungover Shisui and Naruto couldn't even handle the loud Uchihas celebrating Itachi's return. The wedding was going to happen in two weeks yet this will be the first time the bride and groom will meet.

"(Name) darling have you met Itachi" Hiroshi asked while bringing the bride to the groom and groom's father.

"Yeah, we met briefly last night" (Name) responded a bit shy

'Wow she is sweet and soft but also wild and outgoing' Itachi smirked to himself

"The remainder of the wedding preparations have to be done so we could prepare for the engagement tomorrow. How about you kids go and have fun while the whole family preps everything" Fugaku wrapped his arms around both Itachi and (Name). Both Itachi and (Name) left to mingle and so forth, but on the way the met Sasuke.  

"Hey Sasuke, Itachi and I are going around town. You wanna come with?" (Name) asked while Itachi was in the background signaling his brother 'no'.

"I'm sorry but I have to help with the wedding preparations, but have fun" Sasuke let the two go but he was feeling a hole in heart.

The wedding preparations were going great. Naruto was on the phone talking to his girlfriend about his suit for the engagement party. Shisui was currently being chased by (Name)'s cousins Sara and Mei after flirting with them. Sasuke was all alone.

'I should be happy its Itachi's wedding' Sasuke thought to himself. As Sasuke was helping his cousins and uncles to set up the party's venue he could only think of (Name).

*With (Name) and Itachi

Itachi wanted to see the wedding card so (Name) took him to the shop to show him the card. As the shop worker shows Itachi the card, (Name) had a small smile on her face when she saw 'Duckass' crossed off. She wondered why Sasuke would ditch her and Itachi for some boring preparations. She sighed and left with Itachi to explore the town together.

'I should be happy that I'm with my husband, so why I am feeling this way'

*The Engagement party

Both the Uchiha's and Akechi's families were present at the engagement. Itachi was looking hot in his suit while (Name) wore a sultry red (gown or your culture's dress). Itachi was smiling as (Name) had a more serious face. In the crowd there was a somber Sasuke who couldn't see the scene in front of him. The scene were Itachi and (Name) exchanged engagement rings.

It was official Itachi and (Name) were engaged.

Sasuke couldn't handle it so he walked out the venue near the pool. No one really noticed as people were more focused on the celebration itself, except one person.

'I wonder what's wrong with Teme' Naruto then walked to where Sasuke was.

"Hey Teme, are you alright? You seem kinda of down back inside?"

"Everything is fine. Perfect" Sasuke said with a bit venom in the tone.

"Then why are you acting like this? Huh, your brother is getting married"

"I know and I am happy, but did it have to happen soon. I mean he just broke up with his girlfriend like less than a month ago" Sasuke was now pacing back and forth before Naruto grabbed his shoulder.

"Listen Teme, I know you and you are not worried about Itachi." This perked up Sasuke's attention. "I see it in your eyes, you like (Name) don't you?"

Sasuke was appalled from Naruto had to say. Him liking his brother 'wife'.

"What are you blabbing about Dobe, its nothing like that"

"Listen Sasuke we have been friends since we were 4 so I know you. I have seen the way you look at (Name) it was the same way you looked at Sakura back in high school before you two broke up"

"Umm Naruto, Sasuke" Both Naruto and Sasuke turned to find (Name)

"I think you both need to talk to each other" with that Naruto left the two

"Listen (Name), these past couple of days I've spent with you were amazing. It reminded me of when had that trip to Kyoto. I have come to enjoy your company and with not being with you yesterday I realized that I...I... I love you" Sasuke looked at (Name) who smiled at him and came closer to him. Sasuke smiled back until

SLAP... until (Name) slapped him across the face.

"OW! WHAT THE HELL" Sasuke held his stinging cheek

"Oh great, so now you tell me that you love me." (Name) said sarcastically as she shows him her engagement ring. "These past two days with Itachi I felt I was missing something and turns out it was you that was missing"

"So you love me?"

"I love you but in order for us to be together we have to runaway" (Name) said a bit panicked

"No, us Uchihas have a honor to uphold and running away with my brother's bride is not going to help"

"Well then what should we do then. Shall you wait until Itachi and I have 4 little kids for us to be together"

"*sigh No you just have to give me some time to get an idea"

"I give 3 days and if you cannont come up with an idea we're eloping" (Name) then leaves so no one would be suspicious of her absence.

Sasuke finds himself a cigarette and lights it. Though only he smoked when stressed, he also smoked when he was alone. 'Oh shit. I fell in love and that too with...my brother's bride'
