   August 16, 2017     5:32 A.M.    Brooklyn's POV

*Alarm goes off* "Shut.....up....." BEEP BEEP "SHUT UP!" *slams the alarm clock which disables the annoying sound* After I turn off my alarm clock I swiftly lift my warm blanket off of me and sit up in bed, I then stand up and walk to my closet and flip on the light. I pick up my favorite running outfit (above), after I change I pull my hair to a high ponytail. I walk to my kitchen, grab my keys, water, and I walk to my front door and hear the sink faucet turn on. "Bye Mom have a great day at work I'm off for my run!" "Bye honey take a jacket please!" I hear eco through the halls. I set down my stuff and grab my jacket and head off.

As I run to my favorite beach I found here I cant stop my mind from wondering. Broken. That's the word that won't stop replaying in my head since I was 12. No matter where I run or do I can't stop it. God how much I wish I could stop it, but I cant, no one can. As I run I cant even focus on the real world, I was to into my thoughts I didn't realize that their was someone running towards me. "WATCH OUT!" I heard as I feel two arms wrap around me and my feet being lifted off the ground. Suddenly I felt a body pressed against me, it takes me a minute to realize what happened. Before the thought could even cross my mind on what happened, me and this guy were starring into each others eyes. I felt safe looking into this strangers eyes.

After a solid minute of us glazing into each others eyes he finally spoke. "Oh uh let me help you up." His voice was low and husky, it was so addicting I just wanted to hear him speak forever. As he helped me up, we both stood up and took each other in. I scanned his whole body. It was like he was chiseled by the gods piece by piece. He was wearing a lose low cut tank and you could clearly see that he worked out, and he wore some blue shorts but I wasn't that focused on his body but more so on his face. He had the most beautiful blue eyes. They were so cloudy yet I could see right through them.

"I'm...so sorry I...um was..just" as he spoke it was clear he was just as lost looking at me as I was with him. He cleared his throat and shook his head and that shook us about into reality. "I'm so sorry there was a life guard car coming and it was going to hit you so....I gue-" I cut him off "Thank you for saving me" I quickly wrapped my arms around his neck and placed my head on his chest and quickly I heard his heart quicken. I felt his arms snake around my waist. After about 5 minutes of pure silence we finally let go. I was surprised that he wasn't a regular guy and already tried to get my number but no he just was happy with me and I felt beautiful for once because how he looked me up and down. "Hey does my hero want my number so if I need saving again I can call you." I ended my question with a playful smirk. "OH, yeah! sure." he gently took my phone that I handed him and put his number in and I did the same. We said our goodbyes and I walked off and looked back one last time to pull him in deeper into that I can be a challenge if he wanted me to be.
