One;The Encounter

Aphmau's POV

I looked out the window of the car,I looked at a sign as we passed by Phoenix drop 10 miles'

I sighed I was only ten miles away from my new life my new start I couldn't say I was happy but I couldn't say I was upset either

"How are you doing honey?" I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my mom's voice

I turned to her and smiled slightly "I'm fine mom" she nodded slightly and her eyes turned to the rode once more

I turned my head to look at the back seat "how are you doing Celeste?" I asked my dog,she barked and wagged her tail in response,witch made a smile appear on my face

I turned back to the window as I saw a sign that said 'Welcome to Phoenix Drop' I watched as we entered a lively town,there was shops everywhere and people,it was so active here

As we passed shops,I felt a tad better about moving here it looked nice,maybe it wouldn't be so bad after all

Out of everything something caught my attention from the corner of my eye,I turned my head slightly my eyes meant with someone's who had been walking

I stared at his blue eyes for forever it felt like,but it was only a moment our car passed the person quickly

I turned away from the window and looked strait ahead "where is our house anyway?" I questioned

"It's a block or two away,so it's close to the center of town" my mom explained,that sounded nice a home close to everything

"It'll be so much easier for me to get to work and for you to be able to do things well I'm gone" she also added

"That's great,and your sure you can afford it? It seems to good to be true.." I replied,we always had money problems

"I'm positive honey,it's fine you don't have to worry about money" she promised,I still wasn't totally convinced though

"Alright mom..." I trailed off giving her an unconvincing glance when she looked away,then we pulled up to a driveway

"Here we are!" My Mom said happily,through the front window I looked at the house,it was big,and really nice looking from the outside

I unbuckled the seatbelt and opened the car door,I stepped out of the car and looked at the house

Then I turned back to see my mom getting all the bags out 'I have a lot of unpacking to do today..' I thought and sighed

After all that unpacking stuff because Kay is to lazy to write all that <3

I walked out of my new room,witch was a pretty big room,I even had my own bathroom so it was a huge upgrade

I walked downstairs to see my mom unpacking our spoons and forks and such like that "need any help mom?" I asked causing her to take her attention off the silverware

She smiled "no thank you sweetie,I got it" she replied then put her attention back onto unpacking

"Ok then,I think I'm gonna go explore the shops and stuff,alright?" I said

"Alright! Have fun text me if you need a ride home" she replied

"Got it!" I smiled as I put my shoes on,I grabbed my small bag with my wallet and phone then I opened the door and left

I walked for about five minutes then I saw people and shops a smile grew on my face,I always loved exploring so this would be fun for me

As I started walking into town I heard my phone buzz I opened my bag and grabbed it out,it said 'Call from asshole'
I declined and put my phone back in my bag

Who is asshole? None other then my ex boyfriend Aaron,he cheated on me,then I gave him a second chance and he cheated on me again,he's been trying o get me back again but it's not happening

My phone buzzed again,I took it out of my bag and declined again,then I went onto my messages and texted him

"If you call me again I'm going to block your number! Leave. Me. Alone!."

I growled,then I felt myself run into something causing me to fall back,I fell onto my butt "ma'am I'm so sorry are you alright?" I heard a deep British voice asked

"Yes im fine,sorry I wasn't paying attention" I said then looked up to see the guy I saw earlier,he extended his hand offering to help me up,I took it and he pulled me up

"You look familiar have I seen you before?" He asked

"I actually just moved here today.." I replied

"Your the girl who was in that car,weren't you?" He asked

"That would be me" I replied "I'm Aphmau it's nice to meet you" I said extending my hand

He shook my hand "I'm Garroth Ro'meave" he replied

"Again it's really nice to meet you,and I'm sorry I should've been watching where I was going"

"It's alright really,accidents happen don't sweat it" he said

"Alright.." I replied,I felt guilty I always felt guilt for doing things like this,I don't know why I just did

"Can I buy you a coffee as an apology?" I asked hoping that would make my guilt go away

"No that's alright,a lady really shouldn't pay,but I could go for some coffee,if you come I'll pay" he replied

"No I couldn't ask you to pay!" I insisted but he didn't look convinced

"I could never let a lady pay,so I insist" he replied,I sighed in defeat

"Fine.."

"Great now,come on I'll take you to the best coffee place around here" he said I nodded and we started walking

It wasn't long before I saw standing in front of a coffee shop,Garroth opened the door "go ahead" he said

I nodded "thank you" I said as I walked into the shop,I looked up at the menu,so many choices

"You can get whatever you want" he said walking up beside me

"Thank you" I replied,soon I picked what I wanted and we ordered,then we walked over to a table and sat down

"so you said your new around here?" He said

"Mhm,I just moved here today,my mom got a new job" I replied

"How old are you? I mean if you live with your mom" he said

"Nineteen,but I stay with and take care of my mom" I replied

"Oh I see,im nineteen as well,I live at an apartment with two of my friends" he replied

"So how long have you lived here Garroth?" I asked

"My whole life,I grew up here my parents and brothers live in town as well" he replied

"So you must know the town well?" I assumed he nodded taking a sip of his coffee

"Like the back of my hand" he responded,we started talking about random things not realizing that we had been talking for almost three hours
