Kakashi POV

"Why?" She asked me as I focused on my book again.
"Because, your too innocent.." i looked at the clock..7pm.
I laid back down, reading my book.

"Aren't you going to eat?" I asked.
"I don't usually have dinner this late.." she looked at the ceiling, i felt her toss and turn.

"Are you ok? Y/n." I sat up..looking at her.
"I'm not use to..a bed this big..and I usually have something to hug..i bet I won't sleep tonight."
"I can just sleep with you." I casually said.

"W-What? Are you sure you want to?" She stuttered out.
"Yeah, plus..the floor is too..hard."

I saw a smile crawling on her face, her eyes light up. She looked more happier than I thought she would be, i gave in return an eye closed smile..which somehow made her blush.
I saw that she moved a little bit so there was space for me, i grabbed the pillows and blankets to put them away.

I placed on pillow on the bed for me, i laid down and read my book.

"Can I..at least read a few chapters, Sensei?"

The way she says Sensei..so kawaii!

"Sure."

I handed her the book, she immediately blushes as she read the first few sentences.

"Your a perv sensei..b-but..can i maybe..get..a copy of that next time?" She blushed then looked away..feeling embarrassed.

"Hmm..now who is the perv-"
"Im not a perv...i just need to..read something new for once.." she blushes even harder this time.

"Fine, i will buy you a copy when we get back." I closed my book and placed under my pillow. Y/n laid down next to me.

"Kakashi.."

"Hm?"

"Do..you..have a girlfriend?" The question made me cough. Eyes widen i looked at her.

"No, unfortunately.." i sighed. I've been single all my life.

"Why ask?" I wiggled my brows and gave her a bit of a smirk under my mask.
"J-Just wondering!"
"I have the same to thing to ask you, do you have a crush? Seems like you do."

Her face turned red..she does doesn't she.

"I don't!" I guess she doesn't..never mind then.
"W-Well..i think i do..my heart says i do but..my brain is telling me no!"

I sighed slowly, i reached out my hand to ruffle her soft hair.

"Why do you never show your face?" She titled her head and rested it on the pillow, staring into my eyes..i blushed a little.

"Just my style..thats all."
"How do you eat?"
"I..eat when no one is looking." I rubbed the back of my neck.

-Timeskip-

Y/n had been staring at the ceiling for the past two hours, whats on her mind..why does she look so sad? I stilled had my eyes on my book, but i took a few glances at her. Is she scared? Depressed?

"Y/n, you alright?" I sat up, but she faced away.
"Come on, tell me." I leaned a little closer..i heard a little sob.

"S-Sensei.." she sat up immediately and pulled me into a hug.
"Ever since we got attacked..and I thought yo died..it was the same exact feeling i had when my parents died. I-I was scared...I can't get the thought of it out off my head. I was scared i was gonna lose someone important to me...again."

She held me tighter, crying onto my bare chest. I hugged her back, resting my chin on her head.

"I didn't know what to do..all i did was..cry.."

She cried harder, she looked up into my eyes. Sill in tears, i wiped the tear on her cheek then kissed her forehead.

"Crying is a good thing, it shows that you truly care and that you have a great heart. I understand how you feel.."

Y/n POV

I felt his heart beating, the rhythm made me calm. I never really knew who killed my parents, I can't remember. But the feeling of Kakashi hugging me..makes it so familiar.
All I remembered was that..it was a monster that killed them, some kind of monster.

"Lets sleep now.." he calmingly said. I laid down, wrapped myself in the blanket. Falling straight to sleep.

-Morning!-

My eyes slowly opened..i tried to stretch out my limbs..but couldn't. Hm? I felt arms around me..dont tell me its...Kakashi sensei?! I looked to see his face..still with a mask. He's so close, our faces were only an inch away from each other. My eyes widen, heart raced and cheeks flushed madly red.

"K-Kakashi..." I whispered, trying not to wake him up. Why is my heart beating so fast? The more i look at him..the more i feel weird.

"Mm.." he groaned. Holding onto me tighter. I guess i fell asleep in his arms last night. I poked his nose..a few times.

"Wake up...Sensei." I said quietly but loud enough to make his eye open.
"5 more minutes.." he muttered under his breath.

"No..wake up."
"I just wanna stay like this..just for a few minutes-WAIT Y/n?!" He finally noticed.

I saw that his face got redder, i felt his heart beat.

"Kakashi..."
"What?"
"You perv."
