When I followed the ambulance I couldn't believe what I saw. I saw Shawn on a stretcher being carried into the ambulance. Me and my parents followed him to the hospital. Apparently while I was gone Shawn started self harming. When he was cutting he lost too much blood and went unconscious. My parents went to check on him and he was laying on the ground unconscious. This was all my fault why did I have to go on a walk and leave him alone. If I stayed with him none of this would have happened. I was in the hospital waiting room when I got a flashback.
*FLASHBACK*
Me: Mom why can't I go the party its the biggest party of the year and everyone is going!!
Mom: Well that's too bad because your grounded.
Me: Ugh fine but I am not talking to you for the rest of the day!
Mom: Yeah ok
*I go upstairs and hear a big bang while I am up there*
Mom: Help Help
Me: I'm calling 911
When 911 took her to the hospital we found out she was diagnosed with lung cancer.
*FLASHBACK OVER*
To this day I still feel bad that I was so mad at her. Just then the doctor came in. He said that Shawn is now conscious and can go home in 2 days! I was so happy I ran into the room and Shawn was laying in the hospital bed looking so weak. I said "Shawn I am so sorry this is all my fault". He said the worst thing I could have imagined. He said "Who are you?"
