I was finally home laying on my bed trying to relax myself, I couldn't stop thinking about what was going to happen at night my mind was buzzing like angry bees and all I could do was close my eyes and plugged my earphones in my ears, music had always been my way to scape from reality forgetting about my life and the world for a second.
I started singing alone feeling every word as they fell from my mouth, drowning in the melody, getting lost in the rhythm. Suddenly I was an autumn leave floating up and down as the cold air lead my way, going everywhere without a specific direction to follow, feeling free and peaceful only focusing on what the wind was murmuring to me, birds singing songs that came up from their heart pouring it's own soul at it. No one could stop me or forced me to change my way it was just me and the beautiful scenario around me.
Knowing what gravity causes: once you're up you have to go down anytime soon or not. That's when I touched the ground dreams coming back to me as my whole self turned numb and serenely.
"Float down
Like autumn leaves
Hush now
Close your eyes before the sleep
And you're miles away
And yesterday you were here with me..."
---
-"Sweetie, It's time to get up"
I could hear my mom whispering it as she shaked me ever so gently to wake me up.
-"Wh..." Wait... when did I fall asleep I questioned myself while Rubbing my eyes as my vision became clear again.
-"You don't have to be at Liam's in 30 minutes?" My eyes widened as I remembered today's dinner.
-"Oh god!" I bursted out, running to the shower.
When I was done I started drying myself quickly wrapping the towel around my waist.
What can I wear?... Geez I sound like a girl who's freaking out over the first date.
-"Gotcha!" I said after finding what I was looking for my always fair pair of skinny jeans and a grey plain shirt with a little heart in the pocket. I also put on my green beanie sliding on a pair of white converses.
After checking myself for the last time I grabbed the keys of my car shutting the door behind me. I ran down stairs kissing my mom on the cheek, saying goodbye to her.
-"Have fun sweetheart!" She waved back before I reached the front door.
--
I parked my car right in front of Liam's house breathing deeply as I calmed myself down.
You can do it Harry...
Let's do it!
After convincing myself that everything is alright I started walking towards the front door, lightly knocking once I reached it.
-"Hey Haz!" Liam was standing in front of me wrapping me in a tight embrace.
-"Hi Li" I greeted him with a soft smile, listening laughs coming from inside.
-"Come in" He took my wrist dragging me to the living room.
-"Tell me you don't left Louis alone in the kitchen while you came to open the door" I joked, making both of us burst in to laugh.
-"Harry!" A piercing Doncaster accent sounded calling my name and before I could realize what was going on I was laying on the floor with Louis on top of me.
