It was a frosty morning, and me and my friends were gathered round our usual table outside. I was in mid-conversation with Jess when we heard a car pull up outside the gates. Brad, and I think his name was Tris, got out of the car. Me and Jess headed over to say hello.

Brad pulled me into a hug, I'd missed his scent.

'Ive missed you' he whispered into my hair.

'Ive missed you too' I replied, a smile appearing on my face.

We broke apart and saw Jess and tris hitting it off. Me and Brad looked at each other and giggled. Jess and tris hugged bye and the three of us headed back up to the table. As we were walking, I felt Brads fingers lock with mine. He pulled me away from the crowd of friends. He removed his hands from mine and placed them around my waist. He pressed his forehead gently on mine.

'I really have missed you' he whispered, his warm minty breath on my face 'I'm sorry if I mislead you'

'Its fine, I skip to conclusions, it's a bad habit'

He kissed me softly then turned around. I jumped on his back and rested my head in his shoulder whilst he carried me back to the table.

When we arrived back we went our separate ways to greet our friends. I was just saying hi to Grace when I noticed out the corner of my eye, Genny talking to Brad. Eugh. In every school there's a girl who try's to get with every single boy. Yeah, well that's her. I don't usually mind girls talking to Brad, I'm not overly attached. But something about Genny made my flesh crawl. The bell went and we all headed to our lessons. I had art. I took my seat next to Brad.

'So what did Genny want?' I asked curiously.

'Nothing, why? We were just talking.' He answered quickly. I became suspicious.

'Just wondering'

Just as I thought that I knew the truth, I was wrong. But what if he's being honest, I jump to conclusions to quickly. He's probably telling the truth. Isn't he?
