Punks and Tattoos. (Niall Horan fanfiction)

Chapter 1

My Alarm went off and the loud noise pierced my ears, I throw it at the wall. I hate Mondays, but today is the last day of school and I couldn't be happier. I didn't want to get out of my warm bed but I had no choice, i pulled the blankets off of myself and walked to the bathroom. I had a small bathroom in my bedroom and it was nice, even though I wasn't the richest person alive. I took a quick shower and got dressed, I did my hair and makeup and then ran down stairs.

Once I reached the kitchen the smell of bacon filled my senses.

"Good morning, Carry" my mom said with a tired smile on her face. My mom worked a lot. A little too much really but we didn't have a lot of money so she has two jobs. I could see how tired she was just by looking at her.

"Morning mom! here, sit down. I'll finish breakfast for you. Go ahead and eat" I said taking the spatula from her hands.

"Thank you, sweetie" she said once she sat down. I finished cooking and piled my plate after I served my mom. we ate in silence for a while until she spoke. "So, are you excited to spend the summer with your Aunt and Uncle?" she said.

I'm going out of town for the summer to stay with them. My Uncle Ron is my Dad's brother. My Dad died in a work accident when I was 13. I'm 17 now and I wish he was here to see me graduate. but I know he's watching over me and that keeps a smile on my face.

"Yeah, I actually am. It'll be fun." I say while putting a forkful of hashbrowns in my mouth.

My mom and I finish eating and I give her a kiss on the cheek and headed out the door. My bus stop is two blocks away, so I walk every morning. My bestfriend Blake lives one block down and I stop there so we can walk the rest of the way together.

"Heyy, Carry!" Blake said when I walked up on his porch where he was waiting for me.

"Hey, you ready?"

"Yup" he said cheerfully.

"So, you're going to be gone all summer. And I have to go to summer camp alone. Alone, Carry. with annoying Ashley Higgins. Who's going to come up with cheeky comebacks when she picks on me? Who's gonna help me prank all the Jerks when they're sleeping? ughhh. You should be going" My crazy bestfriend said with a hint of a whine in his voice.

Ashley Higgins is the biggest snob at our school and Blake and I are her main targets. She and her group of not very smart Football player dudes hung us both up on our lockers once. It was terrible. I really had to pee. and no one helped us. Those Jerks. I ended up peeing right there on the spot. It was a bad day for me.

"Aw, come on. You'll make it without me. I dont even want to go. It's going to suck. I feel for you, man. But hey, it doesn't last all summer. so that's good." I said trying to make him feel better even though I said it's gonna suck.

"Yeah, i guess. I'll have to team up with the nerds to prank them then" he said, getting over his sadness of me not going.

We get to the bus stop and there she is. Looking at us with her makeup caked face. She honestly thinks she's the prettiest girl in school but unfortunately for us everyone listens to her like she's the Queen.

"Aww, well if it isn't Dumb and Dumber" she said with that stupid voice she has.

"No, it's actually Carry and Blake.
Dumb and Dumber are sitting in the seat infront of us" I said referring to her and her "BFF". She's more like her Trained Assistant.

"Ha! You're so funny, Carry" Ashley said with sarcasm dripping from her words. Blake and I sat two seats behind her on the opposite side of the bus.

We got to school and everyone rushed inside and straight to their classes. Normally we all just mess around in the halls but it's the last day so we're getting it done quick.

I was walking up to my seat when Ashley threw a crumpled up piece of paper at me and it hit me straight in the face. I was one second away from ripping her perfect little head off when Blake grabbed me by the wrist and pulled me into my seat. God, she's so lucky.

My first two classes went by fast and it was lunch time now. I met up with Blake in the halls and we ran to the Cafeteria to avoid bullies. Yeah, we got picked on that much.

Blake was kind of a nerd and I was a loser for hanging out with him. I didn't care though. He's awesome. If anyone took the time to find out they'd know it too. and he isn't some ugly nerd either. He's actually kinda cute. But he has to wear glasses so that kinda made him nerdy and not so good looking. Not being mean but he needs to learn how to buy better glasses.

We found our seats in the Cafeteria and sat down with our trays.

"I've seriously had enough of this school. We actually have to run through the halls to keep from getting bullied. that's crazy!" I said, completely frustrated and upset with all the losers in this building.

"I know. But we only have one year left. We'll get through it together." Blake said with a sweet smile.

Sometimes I have a feeling he likes me but I never mention it. If I'm wrong, I don't want to bring it up.

Fortunately the day passed by quick and I just got home. I gave Blake a big hug. Long enough to last a whole summer without me and told him to text me anytime.

I walked through the door and noticed I was alone. mom is obviously at work. I ran up the stairs after grabbing some snacks from the kitchen. I have to pack a summer's worth of stuff because I'm leaving in the morning. I threw everything I owned onto the floor and sorted it all out and packed what I wanted to take and put everything else back.

I decided to order pizza since moms not here to cook. I could've cooked myself but I really didn't want to. I went to bed early because there was nothing to do.

I woke up at 6:00 o'clock this morning. My Aunt was going to be here around 9 am and I wanted time to get ready and finish packing the little things I needed this morning. I took a long shower. It was much needed. I straightened my long brown hair, did my makeup and got dressed. Rushing down the stairs I noticed my Aunts car in the drive. I hadn't realized how much time I spent in the shower and getting dressed.

"Carry!!" my Aunt Violet shouted before I even entered the room.

"Hey, Aunt Vi" I said with just as much enthusiasm as she had.

"Are you ready to go Honey? Your cousin is in the car waiting for you. She's so excited!!"

I doubt that. My cousin Jade is the last person I wanted to spend the summer with. She wasn't all that mean. I mean, she was but not like Ashley Higgings. She ran with a crowd that just wasn't me.

Let's be real, She's a slut. She's covered in tattoos and piercings and she goes to parties and hangs with Punks and Emos. it's not really my style. I'm a bit shy and quiet. A straight A student and my bestfriend was the biggest dork in school. We're complete opposites I guess.

"Awesome, I've missed her" I said and meaning it just a little.

"We have to get going now. I'm in a bit of a rush to get back." My Aunt said while hugging my mom tightly.

"Aw, I'm going to miss you so much Carry!!" My mom said. I'm going to miss her too. I almost don't want to leave her here all by herself. But she has a guy friend that she doesn't think I know much about and they usually hangout a lot so i know she won't be alone. And she's also got some girlfriends so I'm not that worried.

"I'll miss you too mom, I love you!"

"I love you too, sweetie!"

And with that we headed out the door. Well, here goes nothing. A whole summer out of town. Who knows what kind of things will come my way.
