He stared at the woman as if her soul was to catch on fire by his glare at any minute. It was a pain to waste time talking about world peace or what the world had to offer him. If anything, he could offer the world something. So it's been said of course. The room was smaller than what he was used to.
Wow..my bedroom is bigger than this! It might as well be a box.
Glass windows were surrounding the two with the only entrance being a wooden door with a sign that says: Deloris Walker, Head Administrator for Admissions. The ceiling seemingly was smooth until he saw a tiny crack in the corner that was peeking at him.
Perfect wall ruined. I wonder what idiot did that. With a room like this, the sign on the door should say: In need of money please help!
He sat in the polished chair watching her chapped lips covered in an unflattering brown lipstick move.
She isn't as great in person as I thought she should be..I'm not impressed."Excuse me , Will?"
He looked up at the woman. She had her dull blonde hair pulled back into a low ponytail while her button up shirt failed to cover a little peek into her cleavage. Her skirt just a bit above the knees. Unprofessional. Will examined her and her imperfection. She should be the one being interviewed instead.
"So You're a senior correct?"
And the dumb questions begin....
He sat straight and looked her in the eyes." Yes,I am"
The woman proceeded to write on her obviously cheap clipboard. Cracked nail polish sat on top of her wrinkled skeleton like fingers.
Ew. She looks like she got her manicure from a dog."What makes you a good fit for Columbia University?"
Breathing slowly, he restrained himself from what he truly wanted to say.
Who was this woman? What makes Will Chapman a good fit? Everything. Why would I even be here if I didn't think that I was a good fit!"Well, being that I am fifteen and have done exceeding well in academics as well as my writings I can say that I fit the determination and ability to bring change to this school"
Please change the school? I could REINVENT the school if I wanted to.
More words were written on the clipboard. On her fingers were tiny pen marks like she's been playing with ink.
Scratch that, more like a manicure from a dog with no paws. Probably would do a better job than that still."You believe that?"
He scoffed. I wouldn't say it if I didn't you dumb broad.
"With all my heart Miss."
She gave a slight smile that was looked almost photoshopped.
Cut it with the fake stuff will you?
Even her teeth seemed to be stained with a little yellow.
While you're sitting here doubting me and asking what I can fix.. you need to find a special dentist to fix that Indian corn in your mouth."What makes you ,Will, different than any other student"
Is she for real? Obviously something does if I'm here. What kind of administrator is this. If this is all Colombia has than they need to do better research.
Will sat up more leaning a bit forward into her presence. The woman stayed still in her chair and as she saw Will she began to blush.
