"Hey" , shrieked Lizzy ,'What are you doing man. You ruined the cake I was baking.'
'It would have been a torture eating it anyway,' remarked a laughing Carter driving. At that moment Lizzy saw red and picked up a frying pan with the sole aim of hurting Carter Donavan so badly that he would remember it for the rest of his life .
Gauging her intention, still laughing Carter gave her his famous lopsided dimpled smile and said,' Chill Lizzy'
At which Lizzy lunged towards him taking both of them by surprise...both crashed on the kitchen floor wrestling with each other in the process. Once on the floor Carter took complete control of the situation, by locking Lizzie's hands over her head and pressing his body close to her. Lizzie's eyes widened with surprise...she looked into Carter's eyes , those innocent blue eyes which always had a wicked twinkle in them which now glowed with an emotion far deeper and darker then she had ever seen before. She felt an unfamiliar jolt of awareness which thrilled and confused her at the same time.
' What the heck', she blurted out in confusion. In blink of an eye the expression on Carter' s face changed back to the carefree smile he always had. He got up and pulled up Lizzy . Smiling he teased ,"Ooo someone is all hot and bothered."
Lizzy laughed , swatted him and said,' mind your business Carter. I am busy. .off you buzz ..you creepy touchy feely bear. Smiling a wolfish smile Carter bent near Lizzie's ear and whispered ,"I am going now but I will be back." and swaggered his way out Lizzie's home making her feel uncomfortable all over again , making her wonder what exactly was Carter upto...
