Camille sighs to herself out loud. It has been 30 minutes since she got off the plane and was getting ready to grab her luggage. There was a mom in front of her who was walking slow as a turtle, she had a boy in her hand who was screaming like he got his tooth pulled off. The airport was packed as fuck she thought. She needed the lady to start walking faster, so she could go on to her new life. But when the family made no move to walk faster, she about lost it.
"Excuse me." Camille said to the lady.
The lady made no effort to respond to her.
"Hello, excuse me," she yelled.
"What the fuck are you yelling for?" The lady asked her rudely.
"What are you swearing for? You have a child right next to you for Gods sake! Your swearing made nothing easier for me, consider the fact you've been walking like a tortoise. Now, if you will excuse me, I have some places I need to be."
With that, Camille lightly pushed the lady and started walking to the luggage carriers. Maybe she was a bit mean to the lady, but she couldn't think about that right now. She needs to go since her Aunt is waiting for her. Her aunt Lydia has been texting her and calling non stop, saying she's waiting for her outside the plane. Clearly, Camille was getting annoyed and her Aunt Lydia couldn't take a hint. She finally found her luggage and smiled cheerfully. While she was walking with her luggage, her phone started ringing with a phone call from Lydia.
"What?" Camille answered irritably.
"What do you mean what? I have been sitting here for an hour, and you answer your phone like that? Honestly Milly, drop the attitude." Her aunt Lydia replied angrily.
"I'm sorry, but have you forgotten you've been ringing my phone non stop while I was trying to grab my luggage, You know how annoyed it get easily-"
"Milly, stop talking dammit! I have a dinner I need to get to, and you're making this no eas-"
"Don't call me Milly."
"Fine. Camille just hurry up."
"Fine then, where are you?"
"I'm right next to you. But I'm outside."
Camille looks up and sees a black limo parked outside. She forgot her aunt was rich, and owned a limo. Without warning, she ends the phone call. She starts walking outside, and meet Lydia by the car.
"God, you took so long. I'm going to be late!" Lydia exclaimed dramatically.
Camille rolled her eyes at her, and look at her. This is the first time she's seen her in 10 years. Now, she's only 22 while Lydia is 42. She looked at her carefully. Lydia hasn't changed a bit. Her red hair was still the same curly one. Her small figure looks the same. And it looks like, all she's been doing is working. Lydia doesn't look like her mom at all. Camille's mother has brown hair, and brown eyes, while she's tall, and likes to work at coffee shop. Camille quickly stopped thinking about her mother. It hurt her too much to think about it.
"Still dramatic, hay?" Camille joked lightly.
"Still stubborn, hay?" Lydia fired back.
Camille rolled her eyes again, "You still haven't changed. I see."
"As much as I would love to talk about who has changed, we need to go. Listen, I have a dinner party to attend, and you'll be coming with me. I already have your dress ready. And Hank will do your make up for you. Sorry for the late news, it just happened." Lydia explained.
"Dinner party for what?" Camille asked curiously.
"For the Seitel's, their daughter who's a little bit younger than you is having her birthday party, and we got invited. So I would appreciate it, if you could get in the car."
Camille got in the limo, and looked outside. North Caroline is going to be the death of me. She thought. The car ride there was silence, Camille ended up falling asleep. She awoken with Lydia talking to someone on the phone. She finally figure that the car had stopped, and looked outside. A big house. That's what Camille saw.
"Milly honey, get inside, hank will be waiting for you, while Hayes takes your luggage to your room. Chop chop, go!" Lydia yelled.
"Okay."
Camille opened the door, and came to face with a fair guy. His hair was died multiple times.
"Oh, there you are! I'm hank. Yes, I'm the make up artist, your lovely aunt hired. You've met my twin brother Hayes huh?, Well darling, I'm the best at make up, it doesn't look like you need much. You're already beautiful. Now let's go upstairs!" Hank quickly grabs her wrist, as they go upstairs. Camille already got annoyed with the guy cause he was so giddy. Great.
