You and Me

(YOU AND ME)
We were sitting on the mat at the top of the hill under the stars shining so bright,while talking,smiling,and laughing.
"Hey,Look! A shooting star!" You exclaimed happily and I giggled at your childish behavior. "What did you wish for?" I asked you and you look at me with happiness. "For us to be together forever and always be there for each other!" You said and my smile almost dropped. "O-oh really? That's great." I said and forced myself to smile widely at you,then your eyes soften while looking at me. "Well,what did you wish for?" You asked and I sigh staring at the night sky while I bring my legs closer to my chest.
"It's something I wished for to happen,but I know it will never happen." I said softly and looking down on my lap,while my tears were threatening to fall down. "What is it? Maybe I can help you make it happened." You said and I shake my head 'no'. "You don't have to." I said softly almost like a whisper. "Well,at least let me hear some part off it,maybe I could get a hint." You suggested and I was thinking if I should or not. "Come on! I told you my wish now it's your turn." You whined cutely and pouted,I couldn't say no to you when you're looking like that. "Fine." I said giving up and sigh while you were cheering. "My wish is that a certain somebody I love and care would notice me and finally return my feelings." I said and you were suddenly silent. I look at you and I saw you looking like you were in deep thought. "Hey,is something wrong?" I asked you and you shake your head 'no'. "Nothing's wrong." You said in all seriousness and I was taken aback but I kept my silence. I sigh and lay on the mat,landing on the big pillow that we bought to share. I look at the stars then back to you. ' I'll miss doing these things with you. ' I thought sadly and my phone ranged,I look at it and saw my mother's name displayed. I sigh but didn't take the call,I look at you and you look me with something in your eyes. "I think we should go home now. My mom called." I said and stood up,you nodded and stand up also. We fix things there and went to your car,we put them in the backseat and you sat on the driver's seat while I was in the passenger seat. On our way towards my house,you turn on the radio and played our favorite song, usually I would start jumping on my seat and sing to my heart's content,but I was just looking at the window and muttering the song. You glance at me from the corner of your eyes,wondering what was wrong but decided not to say anything. When we arrived at my house,I didn't want to leave your car,I gripped the straps of the seatbelt that was holding my tightly. "Aren't you going out?" You asked me softly and I hesitantly nodded. I took the seatbelt off of me and I opened the door,the cold wind of the night hit my face,I got out with trembling legs and started to walk towards my gate,I reached it with my fingers also trembling while I was trying to opened it. You came out of your car and approached me,you held my trembling hands to your warm hands,it helped me calm down a bit but I was still scared. "Are you okay?" You asked me with concern lace on your words. I nodded and look down on the ground,you sigh and let go of my hands then hugged me. My eyes widen and I swear I almost teared up,but I held it because I don't want to make you and myself hurt more than it will going to be. I sigh at your warm embrace and hugged you back tightly. We were in that position for a few minutes and I let go. "Thanks for the hug." I said and smiled at you with something hidden in my smile,you nodded. "Are you okay now?" You asked and I nodded. "I swear,that's all you were asking me whole day while we having our hangout." I said and giggled. "Well,I think it was unusual for you to be the one calling me at dawn just to hangout with me when usually I was the one who's always calling you to hangout with me,then you go home past your curfew,didn't act crazy when our favorite song played,and you seem you didn't want to go home." You said and I faked a laugh. "It's good to have a little bit of change around here,so yeah. Anyway,I'm going in now." I said and went inside my gate and lock it. You nodded and turn around to leave. "Hey! Thanks for hanging out with me. Bye!" I said and gave you my sincere smile. You nodded and waved me goodbye and went to go back to your car,I stood still by the gate and watch you leave with you car,I sigh and I felt my chest tightned. ' It hurts so much. ' I thought. I sigh and went to proceed to enter my house,before I open the door,I look behind me with a sad expression,looking at my neighborhood. "Thanks for making me like this place." I whispered and went inside my house,my mom was sitting at the couch watching TV. I didn't say a word as I close the door and went upstairs to my room. "Darling." My mom called and I stopped halfway through the stairs. "Yes Mommy?" I asked not turning around to look at her. "I'm sorry we have to move,I know you like it here very much. But we didn't have any other choice." My mom explaining and I sigh turning around to give her a reassuring smile. "Mom,it's okay. You don't have to apologise." I said and went straight to my room. I sat on the edge of my bed and sigh,my phone ding and I fish it out of my pocket,It was a text from you. It said ' Hey, me and my friends are going to hangout tomorrow. Wanna come with us?' and that's when my tears were threatening to fall once again. But I blink them away. And I replied 'No thanks,I'm busy. Maybe next time?'. "There won't be a next time." I mumbled and pressed sent. I stood up and went towards my desk,on my desk was a passport and ticket to Philippines, my home country.
Truth is,I called you to hangout with me for one last time. Tomorrow was the day I'll be leaving,I sigh sadly and look at my 3 picture frames on my desk,one was a black and red colored frame the picture was me and my mom,dad,and older brother,the other was brown and yellow frame it was a picture of me and you with our friends but we were not close that time,and the last one was a white frame with pearls and diamond decorated on it the picture was me and you just the two of us,we were sitting on the mat under the stars on the top of the hill that we hangout tonight,I was in between your legs and your arms wrap around my waist while I was the one holding the phone with the selfie stick.
I pick up the frame and look at it,unlike the others with just a combination of two plain colors,this one was my favorite and special picture,I sigh and put it back. Without me knowing,my tears were falling down my face,I whimpered and fall down on my knees,I sobbed so hard and I covered my mouth to muffle my sobs and screams.
' I don't want this feeling,it hurts.' I thought and continue to cry. I went towards my bed throw myself down,my face landed on a big pink heart shaped pillow that you gave me on Valentine's day.
"I'm so tired." I whispered to myself,and drifted myself to sleep.

"Darling,are you okay?" My mom asked and I nodded. "Yeah I'm fine." I said and looked down. We were at the airport already,waiting for the plane. We still have 2 hours and a half until we are going to board the plane. I was sitting on one of the bench seats at the airport, waiting for a miracle to happen,anything that can make me stay here. I'm a type of girl that wants to be stop by her special someone when she is going to go far away. Call me a drama addict or something but I always wished it would happen to me and right now,that is what I am wishing for.
I look at my watch and saw it will be one hour and a half for now.
I sigh and I got up from my seat.
"Mom,I'm gonna go and take a short walk. I'm bored." I said and my mom nodded. "But come back, okay?" My mom said and I nodded and walk around the airport,I stop by at some store that was inside the airport and brought 2 water bottles,I don't know why I was buying 2 water bottles but something in my gut said that I'll use it for something. I went to the top of the airport and went to the balcony.
I took a deep breath from the fresh air and look down,looking at the people walking in and out of the airport from here at the third floor balcony.
I was about to go out when someone entered the balcony,I hid myself in a corner wall. Someone was looking down on balcony and was also panting and sweating hard,I look closely and saw it was you.
You groaned and sat on the side bench,you buried your face on your hands.
I walked silently towards you.
"Where are you?" You muttered to yourself.
I reached to you one of the water bottles that I bought.
"Here." I said softly and you turned your head to look at me,your eyes widen.
"You look like you need it." I said and you nodded,taking the water bottle of my hand and drink it. I sat beside you and we were sitting in a awkward atmosphere.
"So umm,what are you doing here?" I asked you.
"I came here for you." You said simply and look at me with seriousness.
"Why?" I ask almost in a whisper.
"Because I want to make your wish come true." You said and started to lean towards me.
"I love you,too." You whispered to my lips and kiss me. I kiss back and we softly break the kiss.
"But what are we gonna do?" I asked you.
"I'm leaving in 17 minutes." I said and you smirk with mischief.
"Don't worry, I'll steal you away so you won't leave." You said and peck my lips.
" But what about my parents and my stuff?"
I asked you again and you let out a soft chuckle.
"I already talk to your mom about this,she said she will handle your father. And as for your stuff it's already in the car." You said and put an arm on my shoulder,pulling me close to you.
"I love you." You whisper in my ear.
"I love you,too." I said while smiling happily.
Because it's only you and me.
