Chapter 5: Homecoming (part 2)

Amelia's POV:

I can't believe today is homecoming! This year I can actually go instead of staying at home cause I was too sick to go. I feel strange now, because I can actually walk to places on my own, I don't need my family hovering over me. Trust me, I love and appreciate everything they have done for me, buts it's nice now that I don't have to depend on them anymore, I like that I can do things myself, it's just going to take a while for me to get used to it, that's all.
I'm currently at home, Klaus dropped my back home a while ago, even though he has seen my in this dress, I want my makeup and hair to be a surprise from him until homecoming.
When I got home, no one was there, it was completely empty. I suppose it'll be fun to surprise my siblings at homecoming instead. Then again, I don't have Elena here to help me get ready, maybe I should call her and see if she can come home, or I go wherever she is so that she can help me. No, I can do this on my own, I've seen Elena do her own makeup and hair plenty of time, and she's done mine, so I should be ok.
~~~~~~~~~~(time skip)~~~~~~~~~~~~~
An hour later I looked in the mirror and I was horrified with what I saw, I looked like a clown! And my hair wasn't how I wanted it to be. I know for a fact that Klaus won't find this appealing, no matter how hard he disagrees. What am I going to do? Homecoming is a few hours away and I am no where near ready! Maybe Klaus could send someone over who can help me.
I picked up my phone and dialled his number that he programmed into my phone before he dropped me off at home. He picked up after a few rings.
"Hello love, what's wrong? I thought you were getting ready." He said.
"Well... I was, but no one is home and I want my return to be a secret until homecoming from my siblings and I've realised that I have no idea as to what I'm doing. Is there any chance you know a markup artist and a hairdresser that you could send over to me?" I pleaded.
"Haha, ok love. As it so happens, I do know some lovely ladies that I can have sent over to your house immediately." Klaus said with a laugh.
"Oh my god! Thank you so much Klaus! I owe you big time." I said, happiness dripping in my voice, I honestly can't repay him enough.
"No, you don't owe me anything. I will do anything to ensure that tonight is one that you will remember forever." He replied sweetly, honestly, what did I do to deserve someone like him? He cured my sickness and now he's helping me out with getting ready for my first ever homecoming.
"But you already bought me the dress, that was more than enough Klaus." I said, although I'm completely grateful to him, I don't want him to waste his money on something as little as homecoming.
"Nonsense love, anything you need, I'm happy to supply you with. Now, I just want you to say 'Thank you Klaus, I'll go and get ready for homecoming now and make myself look even more beautiful than ever'." He said.
"Haha! Ok then, thank you Klaus, I'll go and get ready for homecoming now." I said, purposely leaving out that last bit.
"Hey now love, you forgot to add in that last bit." He pointed out. Damn, and here I was hoping that I could get away without saying that.
"I know, I left it out on purpose. Alright, I've got to go now, I'll see you later Klaus, and thank you again." I said.
"Ok love, I'll see you at homecoming then. Oh, and by the way, it's going to be at Tyler Lockwood's house." He said, and then hung up. Hang on, I thought it was at the school. Did something happen and it got moved to Tyler's house?
I suppose all I can really do is sit and wait for help to arrive, but first, I need to get rid of the stuff on my face.
Around 20 minutes later, I heard my doorbell ring and got up to go see who it was.
I open the door and see 2 women standing there, 1 blond, the other brunette, and both were carrying bags.
"Hello, are you Amelia? I'm Charlotte and this is Wendy, Klaus sent us to help." The blond woman spoke up.
"Oh, of course, please to come in." I said to them. I like them, they seem polite.
"Thank you." They both said as they walked in.
I lead them towards the bathroom and they started to set up everything they needed, they sure do have a lot of stuff. Is all of this stuff really needed?
"Oh wow, is all that stuff really needed?" I asked them, worry evident in my voice.
"Yes, it is, but don't worry, it isn't as much as it looks like." Wendy told me with a calming voice and a small smile on her face. Once they finished getting their things ready, they got started. Charlotte did my hair while Wendy did my makeup. They covered the mirror so that I didn't see what they've done until the end. After around 2 hours, they finally finished and they showed me their masterpiece, their words, not mine. Once I looked in the mirror, I could hardly believe that the person staring back at me, was me. Charlotte lightly curled my hair, and they fell over my shoulders, you could hardly tell that I even had makeup on, but I could tell it was there. Wendy didn't cake on the makeup like I did, instead she used it to highlight my features, my eyes stand out and my lips were coloured to blend in with my skin ( A/N:sorry, I'm not good at describing features).
"Wow. Thank you so much! I really appreciate this." I told them. They both smiled at me.
"It's no problem, really. And your welcome. We're glad we could help make your special night special." Charlotte said.
"Your welcome, Amelia. Now, how about you go and put on ur dress?" Wendy said.
"Alright, I'll go and do that." I said, then I rushed to my bedroom where I put my dress and shoes, and I quickly put them on. I decided that I should get flats, seeing that I've never been in heels before, and I made sure to get sliver ones to match my dress.
Once I put them on, I walked back to the bathroom, and as soon as I walked in and Charlotte and Wendy saw me, they gasped and covered their mouths.
"Oh wow, Amelia, you look beautiful. Klaus won't be able to keep his hands off you, and he'll need to make sure that other guys don't go near you." Said Wendy.
"Wow, really? Thank you so much. You 2 helped me to look this pretty. So, thank you again. So umm, what time is it? How long do I have until homecoming?" I asked them.
"We finished just in time for you to start making your way to homecoming." Charlotte said.
"Wait, how am I going to get there, I'm meeting Klaus there and I don't know how to drive?" I said, how didn't I think of this earlier? What am I going to do? I'll never get to homecoming at this rate.
"Well, just come outside with us, we have finished packing up our things, so come with us." Charlotte told me. What's going on? How is going outside with them going to get me to homecoming?
"Alright, let's go." I said, it couldn't hurt to go outside with them. Once we make it outside, what I saw shocked me. There was Klaus, in a suit, which made him look super hot, and he was standing outside of a limo with a single red rose in his hand.
"Hello love. I thought you should go to your first homecoming in style." Klaus said, a wide grin was on his face. Wow.
"Oh my god. Wow. Thank you so much for this Klaus." I said to him, tears started to well up in my eyes.
"Hey now Amelia, no crying or you will ruin my masterpiece." Wendy said, serious at first, but then a grin appeared on her face at the end.
"Your right, ok. Well thank you again ladies, so much." I told them, then I made my way towards Klaus. He handed me the rose and he opened the limo door for me.
"In you go love." He said.
"Ok, thank you." I said. We both got in and I was amazed at how amazing it looked on the inside. The drive started to drive once we had our seat belts on. It was quiet for a few minutes until Klaus spoke up.
"Are you excited for tonight, Amelia?" He asked.
"Of course I am. Tonight is my first ever homecoming, my first time in a limo and your my first date." I said. Klaus growled a little at that last part.
"I had better be your first date, no one will ever touch what's mine." Klaus growled out. Oh wow, he's jealous!
"Oh wow, are you jealous Klaus? Well, you shouldn't be, I've always wanted my first date to be with 'the one', and your him." I told him to ease his worries, and I smiled at him.
"Good, I intend to be your one and only." He said. He held out his hand to me and I took it, and we held hands until we reached Tyler's house. Once we got there, Klaus got out first and then he helped me get out. "Thank you, Thomas. That'll be all for the night." Klaus said to the driver. So his name is Thomas. We walked into the house and it was packed, I didn't expect this many people to be here.
"There are so many people here." I commented.
"Oh, only some of the people here are from your school. The rest of them are hybrids that I sired." Klaus said, wait, there are hybrids here?
"Why do you have your hybrids here?" I asked.
"In case something goes wrong, I want to be one step ahead of them. Who knows what your sister and her friends are planning." Klaus said, ok, fair point.
"Yeah, that's a fair point. Well, speaking of, I'm going to find her." I told him.
"Ok love, I'll see you soon, and stay safe. I'll be up on stage." He said.
"I will. Bye." And with that, I started my way to finding my sister. I soon found her standing by herself. Didn't she have a date to come with her? I could hear Klaus make his little speech as I made my way to her. "Elena! Hey." I called out to her. When she saw me, the look of surprise on her face was clearly evident, then it turned into relief.
"Oh my god! Amelia? What are you doing here? How are you walking right now? I thought Klaus had you, did you somehow escape from him?" Her questions came flying at me, and I could feel my head spinning. Does that mean she doesn't know about Klaus and I? Should I tell her? I know I should, but I know that once she finds out, she's going to hate me forever. But, then again, she fell in love with a vampire, I can't control my feeling for Klaus, he's my soulmate.
"Not exactly. You see, on senior prank night, I found out that I'm apparently Klaus' soulmate, every wolf has one, and it turns out I'm his. His blood healed me, I never have to deal with that sickness again, I can walk again Elena. We came back here for homecoming, well, that and he wanted to see that his father is really dead. He's been really good to me sis." I told her, tears were in my eyes as I told her what he did for me, but I couldn't let them fall, Wendy would kill me if I did. The look of shock returned to her face, I knew she wasn't expecting that, but I had to tell her. She went to open her mouth to speak, but she was interrupted by Klaus walking up to us.
"Where's your date?" He asked as he put his arm around my waist.
"He's getting me a drink." She replied. She seems nervous. Klaus offered her some of his drink and she gave him a look.
"Wait, who's your date Elena?" I asked her.
"It's Matt." She said, oh ok, I thought she didn't like him anymore, why would she come with him here?
"Well, it seems I have you to thank for Mikael's demise." Klaus said, slight praise in his voice.
"He came at me, I didn't have a choice." Elena said.
"Still, I'm impressed. It's not easy for a human to dagger an original." Klaus said.
"It wasn't the first time." Elena told him.
"Right. Elijah." Klaus remembered. He then turned around to look at the crowd before him. He looked back at Elena and saw that she was nervous. "You seem nervous." He pointed out.
"I'm not nervous. I just don't like you, and I don't like that your with my little sister." Elena said.
"Well, your sister is my mate, I couldn't exactly help that. Besides, look at her, she's absolutely stunning." Klaus said as he stared at me, I looked down as I felt a blush rising to my face. "Right, I'll get straight to the point then, shall I, love? People have been after me for 1000 years, and I am always 1 step ahead. So whatever it is you're thinking of trying, go for it, give it your best shot. You won't succeed." Klaus said, and then he proceeded to turn us around and we walked away from her, and I waved goodbye to her as we left, she waved back. "Do you want to go and dance for a bit, love?" Klaus asked.
"Yeah sure, I'd love to." I said. We walked to the dance floor and we faced each other, Klaus put his right hand on my hip, and his left hand held my right hand, as son as he put his hand on my hip and held my hand, I felt sparks, and I shivered. The mate bond.
"Are you cold love?" Klaus said with a smirk. He knows what made me shiver.
"No, I'm fine, lets dance." I said.
