We often hear the saying that we have a purpose in life, that life hides us many secrets but u have to accept what life gave you. I’ve always believed the complete opposite of these things, that we can decide what kind of life we want to live because it is “our” life and no one is allowed to control it. Willingness is the key to change the world.
Well, if discovering the world for the first time at the age of nineteen also even after being warned counts , then yes, I changed my world.
Yeah, you must be thinking im bluffing right now, like ‘pffff discovering the world at nineteen, what the fuck is she saying ?’ . But its true. I’ve literally discovered the world at nineteen since I was kept imprisoned in a laboratory.
Imprisoned for nineteen years of my life, until…….
“ FIRE FIRE. There is fire in the building. Everybody abandon your post and run.”
I didn’t know where I was. Piercing screams and alarms were being heard and the person, a man who was In the room I was, was packing things rapidly.
He was my master. The one who takes care of me.
He is the one who teach me things since i was little like talking and all. But most of the time i was imprisoned in this glass cell. Why?.
"Artemis. Listen to me. It's time for you to se the light my child. I know u did you wrong. No human has to live the way you lived. I'm sorry. But listen to me."
"What? What are you saying master?"
" You are unique Artemis. Just know that. Develop your powers amd stop this injustice done to those living outside"
"Outside?". Just then i saw my master getting shot right in front of me without able to do nothing.
"Remember. You have unbelievable capacities." " You can stop them. Here take this". He gives me a piece of paper folden in four and after few second he was lifeless.
And the next thing I remember is this flash of light and loud sound then………………………………..
