I am so sorry for the long wait, I lost a lot of inspiration for this book.. Comment what you think I could do next and I'll try adding it because I have no ideas for this.

Akiko's POV"What?!" Asora-chan yelled at her phone, "No freaking way!"
"He—" I sigh, "Hey, I need to go to work. I'll be back later, Asora-sama."
She nods heavily at me, returning to her conversation on the phone as I roll my eyes at her childish behaviour. I slip on my shoes and head out to Anteiku since my uniform is there, stashed away somewhere.
Once I get there, I'm greeted by Touka. "Hey, Touka!" I wave, noticing a black-haired boy with an eyepatch serving an old couple. "That the new guy?" I ask and Touka hums, nodding.
"He's not half bad." Touka smiles and I snicker. "Don't even think about that, Aki!" She yells, causing me to snicker more, heading into the changing area to change into my uniform.
Once I get out, "I didn't even say anything." I laugh, pointing at her and going to wash some of the dishes quickly. "You said that all on your own."
"What're.." Touka scoffs playfully and I laugh quietly, finishing the dishes and going to serve some of the customers.
I get to a table and finish their order. Two sandwiches and one sliced cake. "Touka!~ We need two sandwiches and one sliced piece of cake, deary~"
"You sound like your brother."
"Shut up."
She snickers, grabbing the pre-made sandwiches and stashed away cake. She slices a piece from the cake and gives me the piece with the two sandwiches.

"Hi, I'm Akiko." I say quietly to the black haired boy as Touka closes up the shop. "I'm.. I'm a half-Ghoul, as you are as well." I whisper monotonously.
"I'm Kaneki. Ken Kaneki." He smiles brightly, "Why are you so quiet?"
"Touka," I mutter, gaining her attention. "They're here again. I smell them," I say and she widens her eyes. My head is down, as Kaneki looks weirdly at the both of us.
They knock on the door, frightening Kaneki. "Go upstairs," Touka whispers to Kaneki and once Kaneki is out of the room, she opens the door.
"Welcome back, special investigator Mado." Touka smiles as do I, waving. "We were just about to close, sir."
"Oh, you were?" He smiles wickedly, "Could I just have a coffee? I'll be on my way after I finish it." He smiles humorlessly, as I fake a smile in his direction. We can't get caught now.
"I'll go make it quickly. Sorry for the wait," Touka smiles as she goes in the back. I smile at the investigator and I pretend to occupy myself with cleaning the counters and dishes.
"So, what's your name?" The investigator asks wickedly (to me) and I fake another smile.
"It's Akiko Tsukiyama, sir," I smile politely at him. I lost count of how many smiles I could fake. "Sorry for the wait.. You just came at a closing time." I whisper lightly and he hums, nodding.
Touka comes out with a normal coffee with creamer in it. She hands it to the man and drags me into the work place that was by the sink.
"He's obviously thinks something is up," I whisper in a hushed tone"We can't let him find out, okay?"
She nods, "Especially if Ayato wants to visit you." She says hurriedly, referring to how Ayato and the others want me to join their stupid little Aogiri Tree.
I sigh, nodding reluctantly.
