chapter three / scene

Gaten's POV

I just finished reading my script for my next scene. This scene is going to be so difficult to do.

BANG, BANG.

Holy shit! That scared me so much. Who could that possibly be? "Come in." I said rolling my eyes.

"Hey!" I saw Millie, smirking. "Millie, do you need something?" I asked her. I'm currently busy, I have to prepare for this scene. Millie coming in and distracting me isn't helping. I only have 30 minutes to practice! Who knows how long I will be talking to Millie.

"Yes, actually." She said walking over towards me. "Well," She said pausing. "It's Crush Month." Mills said, smiling like crazy.

"Millster, if you think I'm going to tell my crush I like hi- her, I'm not going too." I said. She frowned, "Well, you are going to have too."

Uh, what the actual fuck? Why does she always force me to do things, smh.

I saw Noah walk by my dressing room. He stopped walking forwards, and started to walk backwards, walking into my dressing room. Great, more distractions.

"Hey Mills, Gaten." Noah said. "Watcha up to?" He asked. Can I please be alone for 20 minutes? Jesus Christ, what the hell do these people need from me?

"Ah, Noah just in time." Millie said smiling at Noah. Noah looked very confused and so was I.

"Hey Gaten, I need he-" Sadie said walking into my room. "Oh, hey! Are we having a party?" Sadie said walking over to sit next to me on my couch.

The Duffers will be so mad! I'm not even practicing for this scene! It's also incredibly difficult, doesn't anybody have anything better to do?

"No party Sadie, but an announcement." She said. She turned to Noah and Sadie, "Its crush month."

"Millie-" Noah said but was cut off by Millie. "All Month you try to get together with your crush. I've had to explain this 3 times already."

"But Millie-" Sadie said but was cut off by, of course, Millie. "You can't say no, all three of you are doing it." She said confidently. "And that's finale."

"What about Finn and Caleb? Do they know about 'Crush Month'?" I asked Millie. "No, and they never will." She said.

"Why?" I asked her, again. "Why are you asking? They just aren't going to be involved in this." She said sassy-like. Why is she always hiding something from me?

"Okay, we all know about this crush month. Everyone, please leave. I've got to practice for a scene." I said, pointing to the door.

Noah and Millie left talking about the next scene they were both going to do. "Gaten, I need help." Sadie said. I sigh, "Sadie, please, go ask someone else."

She frowned and mumbled an, "Okay." She left the room and closed my door. Finally! Some peace and quiet. Now, it's time to practice for this scene. Which isn't going to be easy, but I don't want the Duffers disappointed.

But first, why is Millie forcing me to do this "Crush Month" thing? I don't want to do it, I know my crush is straight and would never date me. We are best friends.

Caleb obviously doesn't like me, like that. But, I do like him, like that. I'm pan anyway, I get attracted to a lot of people.

Well, time to do this scene.
