Jealousy Overtakes

Right then and their I was for sure I was drowning.

Drowning of jealousy took over my body mixed with heartbreak. Those words replayed my mind.

Ashley, this is my girlfriend.
Ashley, this is my girlfriend.
Ashley, this is my girlfriend.
Ashley, this is my girlfriend.

Those words played over and over again in my head. Almost like a broken record repeated the same words over and over again.

The one guy I actually have a crush on already has a girlfriend.

I heard Selina then say,

Honey, are you okay? Your looking a little pale!

Right after she said that I heard her giggle.... something in you had snapped.

Ashley's  POV:

I had no idea what I was doing but I went with my actions.

I then grabbed her by her hair and repeatedly banged her head on the lunch table, I then tackled her to the ground and repeatedly punched her in her face.

It was almost like.... slow motion.... I couldn't control myself, I had no idea what I was doing.

I then felt arms grab me pulling me off of her, I heard Jared saying over and over again,

Look at what you did!, look at what you did!

Ummmm, hello? Ashley? Are you okay?

I snapped back to reality softly smiling at Jared saying,

Yeah! I'm good, sorry....

It's fine! Don't worry about it!

I sat down next to him and silently ate my lunch.

~ TIME SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL ~

It was already the end of school and already I feel emotionally drained.

I continued walk down the sidewalk  until I heard a soft

Hey Ashley! Wait up!

I stopped my walking so Jared could catch up with me, being him, he started up a conversation,

Sooooo?, how do you like my friends? Hope they don't annoy you as much as they annoy me

I then chuckled under my breath saying,

They are perfectly fine! They seem nice....

So? How do you like my girlfriend? I saw you staring at her for awhile,

I almost wanted to cry right then, just admit my emotions towards him, but I couldn't. He already had a girlfriend.

A voice in my head kept saying things like

Oh, you were never good for him anyway.... he would never date someone like you.

Uh, yeah! She seems friendly....

Suddenly, all the pain you felt, sorrow, pity, sadness resurfaced through you.

It hurt you to lie straight to Jared's face. It's not that you hated her personally, it's just that you knew she stole something of yours that you can never have back. And that thing is happiness.

You then realized you were at your house,

Well, goodnight Ash....

You then smiled at his little nickname

Good night J....

You replied softly back to him, he returned it with a small smile, you then whispered to your self-

See you tomorrow....

Before shutting the front door.
