(Yep, another Bendy oneshot. So, the idea here is that when Bendy drinks different colored ink, he changes color and his mood changes as well. Yellow is happy, Blue is depression, green is disgust, pink is flirty, purple is fear, and red is anger. Also, this ties in with the Hell's Studio AU, where Bendy is the boss running the entire studio and telling all the animators what to do. Also, whenever Bendy goes into public, he wears a disguise, like a trenchcoat and fedora, or a baseball cap and hoodie, anything to cover himself up. This takes place in the mid 1930s, by the way. Anyways, enjoy the oneshot!)
...
You and your boss, Bendy have been left without a job and him without a home, keeping the same professional relationship for five years. Until one night when he invites you for a drink.
...
It's been about 5 years since the animation studio crumbled down, leaving you and my boss without a job. The rest of the employees, like Joey Drew and Henry, kicked the bucket and you and Bendy couldn't handle the studio on your own when other employees like Susie Campbell, Sammy Lawrence, Normal Polk, and Wally Franks started leaving or disappearing. So it had to be shut down only a few months after Joey and Henry's passing.
You and Bendy have talked a little about what you two would do next. But you've got nothing. He's a toon without a job, he always had to go out in public with a disguise to hide himself. Which was never easy to do without getting glances.
But right now, you were at home, listening to the radio and turning the dial for something interesting. Nothing was happening today and you were stuck thinking about the past.
Soon enough, there was a knock at the door, Bendy stumbling inside after the door swung open, his fedora bowed over his eyes.
"I got your groceries for ya." He smiled, carrying bags of groceries that were almost twice his size.
You didn't look away from the dial, only nodding quickly while your tongue was stuck in between your lips in concentration to try and get an actual station on the radio instead of static, which was all you were getting.
"Oh! Thanks, Bendy." You exclaimed when you took a quick glance at him, not getting up from your spot.
"No problem." he said, stumbling to the kitchen and placing them on the counter for later organization.
He exhaled deeply, slipping off his fedora and trenchcoat, hanging them up on the coatrack near the kitchen entryway.
"Ugh, dammit, this stupid thing isn't working." You mumbled to myself, shutting the whole thing off eventually and groaning in frustration, laying back on the couch.
Bendy looked at you from the kitchen, resting his head in the doorway.
"What's the problem?" He asked, the usual cartoon smile on his face with all teeth along with his eyebrow raised.
"Everything's pretty much busted..." You said, flopping your arms on the couch.
"Here, let me try." He said, kneeling down in front of the coffee table where the radio sat.
You scooted over and folded your arms.
"Knock yourself out." You said quietly.
"Alright, now let's see here..." He muttered, his gloves fingers twisting the knobs quickly.
...
Ten minutes later, he got it working again. Or he at least found a station that played clear-enough music.
A small jazzy and familiar tune played, making you softly smile.
"Oh...whaddaya know? Thanks Bendy." You said quietly, a smile curling up on your lips.
"Anything for you, toots." He smiled and winked.
"Such a charmer." You said quietly, rolling your eyes.
You and Bendy have an...odd relationship right now. Ever since we started living together and trying to keep jobs, you and him don't really know each other all that well still. You two basically just still know each other as boss and employee. You'd get closer if you wanted to. It just seemed a little odd to do so, but it's not out of the question.
"...I could go for a drink." You said after a moment, the jazzy tune still weakly echoing through the house.
"Same here...I know a great bar nearby." He offered after a brief moment of nothing making a sound but the music, standing up again from his kneeled down position on the floor.
You lit up at the idea.
"Oh! Alright, that sounds great!" You said, standing up and walking down the hall really quick.
"I'll meet you out there!" You said from down the hall.
"Alright, I'll be waiting in the car." he said, pulling on his wide fedora and trenchcoat again and stepping outside.
...
TIMESKIP
...
When the both of you arrived at the bar, he hopped out of the car with a large smile on his pale face.
"We're heeeereee!" He exclaimed happily.
"My goodness, Bendy, you haven't even drank anything and you're already acting drunk." You rolled youe eyes, hopping out of the car after him.
"What can I say? I love getting drunk." He joked, quickly skipping inside the bar.
With a scoff at what he had said before, you followed him inside, looking around. You haven't been to this particular bar in a while, so everything was a little shifted and new to you.
Bendy took a seat at the bar, motioning for you to sit next to him in another stool.
You quickly propped yourself up next to him, simply asking the bartender for a shot, and that was it.
Oddly enough, Bendy asked for some yellow ink, the bartender sliding him a bottle.
While it didn't suprise you that he drank ink to get drunk, the fact that it was colored was a little odd.
Swallowing the whole shot as soon as you got it in between your fingers, you sighed, feeling the sweet liquid trail down your throat.
"Feels good already..." You sighed.
But your soft satisfied mumbles were cut off by a series of laughs and cheerful giggles beside you. Looking over to your side, your eyes started to widen at the sight. Bendy's body and outline has completely turned a vibrant shade of yellow.
"W-what the...? Bendy? You're all...yellow!" You said with suprise, never seeing him a color other than black.
It astonished you.
"Hehehe, y-yeah! I ammm! Hehehe!" He giggled loudly, his smile wider than ever and the color of his ink getting brighter by the second.
You held a hand to your mouth, looking into your shot glass as if you were hallucinating. But you asked for another shot anyways, holding your glass out to the bartender again.
"More drinks?!" Bendy exclaimed excitedly, hiccuping quickly.
"H-hey, I w-want pink now!" Bendy said to the bartender.
"Oh goodness..." You whispered to yourself, drinking your next shot and preparing for what he'd do next.
The bartender handed Bendy a whole new bottle, the color a vibrant pink. Drinking the pink ink, the yellow in Bendy's body began to fade and turn into a bright pastel pink. His whole demeanor seemed to change again. He glanced at you and gave you a wink, his eyes half-closed.
You hesitantly looked over to him again and saw his whole behavior change. Again.
"U-uh...Bendy?" You asked.
"Yeah toots?" He teased, leaning closer and setting his elbow on the bar.
You were immediatly caught off guard, him never calling you something like that before or even trying to get this close. Your face slightly flushed while you set your drink down, leaning back in your stool.
"W-what are you d-doing?" You asked again, pursing your lips.
"Just spending time with the cutest doll at the bar." He cooed.
A shiver went down your body, your hand holding onto the edge of the counter. Your heart was even starting to flutter. All you could do was stutter out flustered and confused noises while staring down at him with wide eyes.
"Did I ever tell you how pretty you are?" He asked, leaning closer.
Your eyes only went wider, one hand gripping the counter and the other gripping the stool you sat in, still leaning back.
"N-no, I-I don't think s-so." You answered, slowly shaking your head.
"Well then..." He grabbed your hand, his eyes staring into yours.
"You're the most beautiful gal I've met in a loooong time, and I wish I was yours." He whispered, his hand weakly squeezing yours while a lovesick look stayed on his face.
"...y-you are so drunk right now...y-you probably d-don't even mean that." You couldn't help but mumble to yourself, but Bendy couldn't hear it.
You didn't want him to. Somehow, you felt your heart flutter at his actions, breathing shakily and nervously while you two weren't all that far apart right now. But you didn't pull away.
"Y/N?" He asked in a flirty tone, one of his eyebrows raising while that wide confident grin stayed.
You stayed silent at the sound of your name, licking your lips quickly.
"Can I kiss you?" He finally asked.
You could practically smell the ink on his breath, but somehow, you felt like it wasn't just the ink that was talking. No matter how much he drank. So you didn't say anything and only nodded, your lips slightly parted and your eyes still wide.
He leaned closer, pressing his lips on yours while his eyes weakly closed. With a shiver, your hands moved from where they were gripping the counter and wrapping themselves around Bendy's small form. He smiled through the kiss, wrapping his arms around you right back, while you finally closed your eyes and relaxed, your hands slightly gripping the back of his trenchcoat.
Soon, he pulled away, stroking your face lovingly. The taste of ink lingered on your lips. You just kissed your past boss. Who's a toon. It somehow felt different than kissing another regular human.
"W-wow..." You whispered.
"Wow indeed." He said, blushing like crazy.
"I...I can't believe I did that." He put a hand on his head, smiling like crazy and leaning his back against the bar.
You gave a breathy chuckle, your cheeks a firey red. "Me neither."
"I'll be honest, I've wanted to do that for a long time." He said.
"R-really?" You asked quietly, placing your hands on your lap.
"Yeah...since we've been living together." He said, looking at his half-drank ink bottle shyly.
"That's been...5 years." You whispered, shock written on your face.
"Yeah..." He muttered, the pink slowly fading back into black while he wasn't drinking anymore ink.
At least he didn't have something like a hangover.
"Bendy...you should've said something." You smiled crookedly, placing a hand on his back and patting it comfortingly.
"I guess I was too shy." He explained with a silly shrug and a chuckle.
"We did have kind of an...odd boss-employee relationship while we worked. And I suppose...I may have even felt some closeness with you, too." You explained, smiling softly.
"R....really?" He stuttered, setting his glass back down on the counter behind him.
"I can't lie...you're a little dancing demon, who wouldn't fall in love with you?" You teased him, gently patting his light gray tinted cheek.
He blushed brightly.
"W-well..." He smiled and began to giggle.
"Ever since the other employees started to change up your appearance, I...started drawing you in my freetime. Even while I was at home." You confessed, flushing again and looking down at your lap.
Back then, there were periods of time when the younger employees would start to modernize Bendy's appearance to keep up with the ever-changing public's liking. Especially when they expected to seem the animation business going for long enough as those younger employees got older and kept working there. And yes, they even added circles around the usual pie-cut eyes to make him look even more toonish, and a little like the other cartoons. A little creepy and odd at first, but everyone adjusted to the change.
"I know." he smiled. "I saw them."
"...o-oh god, you did?" You said, the pink flushing to your cheeks again in embarressment.
"Yep." he said cheerily, a smug grin on his face.
After a moment of thought, you growled playfully. "You little...that means you snuck into my office while I wasn't at work!"
"Hehehe!" he chuckled, looking away with a large smile.
"Wow Bendy...my doodles of you were practically covering the desk!" You said, holding a hand to your head and giggling, your face flushed in embarressment.
Most of the doodles were for the purpose of work and practice, but of course, there was the ocassional free-time doodle.
"They were good." He blushed, looking at you with a modest smile.
"That's been five years...but I saved this one." You said shyly, pulling a piece of paper out of your pocket and showing it to him.

It was your favorite doodle of him you've done. He was standing on the page with a small grey blush on his face, those lines drawn with pencil and the rest of his body in ink.
He looked at it with awe. "There's just one thing it needs..." He muttered.
"W-what's that?" You asked, handing the piece of paper to him shyly.
He pulled out a thing of chapstick from his pocket.
'A toon with chapstick, an odd shiny touch to his pale skin.' You thought to yourself.
Rubbing it on his lips, he gave the paper a quick kiss, then handed it back to you.
With a small confused noise, you looked down at the drawing, the kiss still visible on the paper in the corner.
You smiled with a small blush. "Gee, Bendy..."
"Now if you ever wish to kiss me when I'm not around, you can kiss me here." He whispered, pointing to the kiss mark from the chapstick with his smug grin.
"You're so cheesy..." You mumbled, rolling your eyes at him while folding the paper and slipping it back in your pocket.
You earned a quick wink from him, a snap of his gloved fingers added to the gesture as well.
You chuckled again when he did and rolled your eyes. "Oh Bendy..."
"Oh Y/N..." He cooed lovesickly, toying with your H/C locks.
You leaned forward again and placed your elbow on the counter, your head on your hand. He did the same, putting his forehead on yours.
"Let's finish this night with one more glass of pink ink." He said with a smile, his hand gently gripping his ink bottle again.
"Sounds good." You said, giggling at him and cupping a hand on the back on his head.
Not such a professional relationship anymore.
...
(I'm pretty sure this is the longest oneshot I've ever written.
2339 words.
But I hoped you liked it anyways.)
