Klaus POV
Everyone set out to find Coastal but I feel like I have an idea where she might be.
If she is where I think she is, then we truly are similar and she might be someone worth getting to know.
I went to the burnt area of the bayou and found Coastal rolled up in a corner against broken wood.
I stood there watching her sow a pretty flower crown.
Coastals POV
I felt Klaus behind me.
"Its not polite to stare," I murmured.
"Hm, well I think me and you have some stuff to talk about,"
"Like?" I asked turning to face him. He sat down next to me and picked a flower handing it to me.
"I figured you'd be here. I often become drawn here. Even though this land has been burned, cursed, and ton of blood shed it still bears fruit and flowers. I envy it. Don't you?" he questioned me.
I looked down. I never knew Klaus was a nice person but then again can you blame him, the mans been through hell and back.
"Yeah, I guess so," I answered.
"Go easy on him," Klaus softened.
I scoffed "Yeah you know I'd love to forgive the man that turned into the very monster that destroyed my parents and then abandoned me to learn this fucking curse on my own. Hell I've been kidnapped, tortured, raped, and everything else because of this family. Everyone thinks I'm the key to getting revenge on your family. But I'm not okay I'm just a girl who wants to live free and not have to watch my back everyone three seconds. Life isn't fair to me hell I've even ripped my own heart out, burned myself in daylight, and staked myself but I keep coming back I can't live like this. I WANT TO DIE NIKLAUS!!!!" I yelled bursting into tears. He wrapped me in his arms and soothed me down.
Klaus POV
Oh god.
The key to my family?? Just what Freya needed.
I can't do this, she needs to be free but she can't.
I grabbed the flower crown and placed it on her head and tilted her head to look up at me.
"Coastal you are a very special person. I am grateful for you okay? Anything you need tell me and I will never let anyone hurt you. You have my word," I told her honestly.
She buried her head in my chest and murmured a 'thank you'.
Elijah's POV
I have searched everywhere but Klaus's place. When I reached there with Hailey we stopped abruptly. The sight we saw made our hearts melt.
"We should give them time," Hayley said patting my shoulder.
"Right," I trailed off.
I stayed. I found myself glued to that spot and that moment. I would of never suspected Niklaus to make comfort with Coastal. He is up to something and I need to figure out what it is, so that he doesn't hurt her.
"Niklaus may I have a word?" I interrupted their 'moment'.
Coastals POV
I got up along with Klaus before making eye contact with Elijah and scoffing.
"I'll be back love," Klaus told me smirking.
I walked away but not far enough to where I can't here. Call me nosey all you want but these are the Mikaelsons we are talking about. I trust Klaus because he was there for me and that's all I need, is for someone to just be there for me.
"Yes brother?" Klaus said.
"What are you planning to do with this poor girl?" Elijah asked. If I didn't know any better this 'poor girl' can take care of herself.
"Nothing brother, why do you think that if I'm being nice to someone that I have some sort of evil plan cooking up for them? Hmm?" Klaus responded.
"Niklaus," Elijah warned.
"Fine brother here it goes,"he started, "the girl, Coastal, is of value to us. Do you remember the prophecy Freya told us about?"
What prophecy? And what did it have to do with me?
"Hardly," Elijah enguired.
"Well the prophecy says that there will be a time of horrible hardship for us Mikaelsons. now whether or not we profill it is up to us. But know this girl is our only key to redemption," Klaus said. My whole world stopped
